I'm home
Anybody remember when I told y'all about the part-timer we had last spring who had her own catering business and wanted Sir to work for her? She kept insulting the wrong people (me included!) and finally got transferred to another store. Sir told me she dropped by to visit on Monday. Huh? I asked him if she sdked to transfer back, but he said she can't because...she got fired. Why? Because she got in a fight with a manager at the other store and actually tried to duke it out!
I guess she didn't read the part in the employee handbook that says striking another employee is cause for immediate dismissal.
It's a beautiful day, and General Lee must have got up this morning before the sun was up because he didn't see his shadow. According to legend, that means spring is right around the corner. Mmhmm. According to the weathernerds, this month is going to be cooler and wetter than normal. I'd really rather believe General Lee.
Gonna get to those solar garden lights. Yes, I am!
Y'all don't know from pollen until you've see pollen season (aka green crap season) in Georgia. It gets in the house even through windows that are shut tight, runs in yellow-green rivers down the street in rivers when it rains, settles on cars so thick that the color of the car can't be determined. And footprints can be seen on the sidewalk after a person passes by.
When I was still a cleaning fairy, it was understood that I'd leave the dusting until the season was over, usually about a month (sometimes longer).
