Am genuinely worried about what is happening in UK

Do you know that one of the main BDL slogans is "enough is enough "? You just used it in your post. Does that mean you support them ?

By the way, the Government has said, just today, that the courts will now be sitting 24 hours a day, and that any arrested rioters will NOT get bail. During the 2011 London riots, guess who was the Attorney General, back then ? The new Prime Minister. Stand by for massive retaliation by the Government.
No you misunderstand these protest are actually called '' Enough is Enough'' Protests...

no they won't.... that's just Media spiel ... they got to find enough police to arrest people in the first place..

It's amazing to me and just about everyone in the uk, where all these police came from in the first place.

One because we barely have any police stations let.. and 2 there's never any coming out for people who've been robbed, burgled, car stolen, .. and when they do send anyone they send kids, barely out of school in a police uniform... so I, and millions of others would love to know where these grown up police have appeared from to police these riots and protests..

Something you say when you want something to stop and a pop song about struggles with alcohol. :) Do not support anything political.

Do read a lot, do look at media platforms. Do not judge. Ethical behaviour is characterized by honesty, fairness, and rights of individuals and groups of people. Just listen to what people have to say on both sides.

Ok, some people clearly need to relax and take a deep breath.
Who are these 'some' people? I didn't notice anyone getting stressed to the point of needing to take a deep breath. Or any form of breath for that matter.

First, correlation-causation is clear in this case. As in most cases. Occams Razor- the simplest explanation is usually the right one.
I'm quite familiar with the 14th century principle of Occams Razor, or as I prefer to call it, Ockham's Razor -- it often gets used out of context. I don't think I've seen Ockham's Razor and correlation-causation ever used together before.

I suppose the word "usually" shows the potential for Ockham's Razor to completely fall down. I sometimes keep Ockham's Razor in mind at work when investigating very complex problems, but I never use it as a definitive principle. I use it as a guide during an investigation, to deal with the simplest things first. I never use it as probable proof of something. Ockham's Razor, originally, "Entities must not be multiplied beyond necessity". Not sure how that applies to correlation-causation.

It's used when two or considerably more explanations or route causes are equally plausible, the one with the fewest "assumptions" should be selected. It doesn’t prove that the simpler explanation is always correct. That would be ridiculous.

So Germany allows about 8 to 12 million (officially) immigrants in their country. Rapes, murders, sexual assaults increase dramatically.
France allowed at least 10 million but some say 15 million immigrants in and their statistics reflect the same.
Swedish statistics are exactly the same as France and Germany. In fact the govt of Sweden actually stated that the immigration experient had failed.
Tazx, I was genuinely hoping for something more significant. Data Validity? France says this, Germany says that, non specific Swedish statistics say the other?

So, are you saying that the huge amount of immigrants in the uk have nothing to do with the increase in rapes murders and violent crimes?

No Tazx, discussions don't work like that. People asking for clarifications from others doesn't mean they are saying completely the opposite. It means they are asking for clarification, and something at least a little more tangible.

I also will say to anyone that references racism to be cautious. It's a slippery slope when you attempt to say without saying that someone is racist.
I served in 3 different countries (iraq afghan and Syria) and peacekeepering in African countries and Bosnia.
Why would you feel you need to say that? Who referenced racism, and to whom?

I am by my actions defending against violence against people because of their beliefs skin color or origin. So while no one directly stated it, i feel it was close to implying. We lost men fighting against all kinds of racism and discrimination.
That's very admirable and should be encouraged in & from all people.

Don't take kindly to the- while faint- implication. Personal attacks will not be tolerated.
Tazx, what on earth are you talking about? Oh dear, is this another assumption?

It is obvious that the rioters are very worked up. They might be furious, or they might be acting out of peer pressure. They are attacking the normal institutions of their society. Which brings the police to protect property and injuries. I am wondering if there is so much violence being shown on social media, and news, that it might becoming a normalized response to the problems the citizens are experiencing.

It feels like as technology has increased, the breakdown of society is occurring at an increasing rate. Technology has made our lives way more complicated, and it thrives on getting our attention by showing us "shocking" stuff. This has created an atmosphere where it feels like "anything goes". Mixing toxic elements in a giant fishbowl is a recipe for some pretty creepy results I am afraid. IMO
The internet a very bad idea.

Worldwide, globalist corporations, businesses, and wealthy elites that control politicians and media realize that if social programs like social security, healthcare, and public services are not funded by future immigrant wage growth that it will instead come out of businesses and corporations. But they also realize they cannot publicly use that argument to convince citizens so they pull back door strings to get their way that hides their reasons from the gullible public. All the ills such excessive immigration causes for their citizens is of little concern versus their own profits. A couple examples of this below.

...The practical problem with this lurch to the nativist right is that Europe is ageing rapidly, and fewer immigrant taxpayers mean higher taxes for remaining workers to pay for pensions, healthcare and other public services for the elderly. Less well understood is the limited extent to which free movement of people within Europe and higher employment rates for older workers and women will help to raise incomes and offset ageing...

The American corporations stoking illegal immigration

...Many corporations have called for increased immigration as a solution for rapidly rising wages. And several business groups are also pressing policymakers to support programmes to extend legal protections to those who entered the country without documentation...

The BRT represents the chief executives of the largest businesses in America. And its board includes many firms reliant on low-wage labour, including McDonald’s, PepsiCo, Walmart, and Yum! Brands. Donnie King, the CEO of Tyson Foods, is also a member. Meanwhile, Suzanne Clark, the president of the Chamber, has cited “wage growth” as a top concern for her business members, and has previously called for a doubling of the rate of legal immigration. Business lobbyists were quick to hail B’s decision last year to extend TPS protections for over 470,000 Venezuelan migrants, and the administration has since announced an extension for programmes granted to nationals of El Salvador, Honduras, Nepal, and Nicaragua...

The clarifications are visible for all to see. News in Uk, Germany France, Sweden, etc all clearly are showing immigration has failed in these countries.
And while I say immigration, I mean the current crop of immigrants. As we are all immigrants from somewhere. But, and a key factor is do the immigrants integrate into society? No they don't. They want to bring values, practices and 'laws' from their countries into their new one, thus creating the problems.

As for Ockhams razer/Occams razer...not sure why you are so adamant at picking apart everything and correcting people down to the spelling. Ockham, however, mentioned the principle so frequently and employed it so sharply that it was called “Occam’s razor” (also spelled Ockham’s razor). Both are acceptable but the double c one is used typically. As for Occams razor, people tend to not quote latin or use actual quotes from the 1300's. Essentially it states -of two competing theories, the simpler explanation of an entity is to be preferred.

What is simpler than the idea that mass immigration from completely different cultures, values, beliefs create problems in their new country? Crime has risen its undeniable. In German, France and now Uk news the crimes are more often committed by...no other way to say it but...immigrants not native to Europe.

Not sure why you feel the need to go about correcting people like we are in middle school. I kindly ask you to mind your business.
If you want to discuss things or talk about things, thats great. If all you do is come on and prove people are wrong, can't spell or need a history lesson, please move on.

And...I hate when people come asking form stats and figures, links and unequivable proof. While there would be if govts would keep correct stats, it's plain as day to see for anyone who cares to be aware of the rising crime and sorry to say, who is committing them.

Give me strength Taxz. I got halfway down your post and gave up reading. So full of assumptions and false accusations. And you with a degree in Philosophy and minors in Psychology and sociology. Never mind

Protesters tried to kick down police officer's riot gear, while other demonstrators threw objects at their shields.

Looters took advantage of the chaos, stealing phones, shoes and wine from the shelves of every-day stores, smashing their windows with bricks and stones.

In Liverpool, shameless yobs squealed 'get the phones! Get the phones!' as a group surrounded and battered their way into a phone repair and vape shop in the city centre.

Kicking the shutters with the feet and wrenching them up in a wild frenzy, the mob battered at the glass with what appeared to be a bollard before leaving the road outside strewn with packaging after they emptied the shelves.

In liverpool a brand new Library hub was torched..

It's without doubt a terrible thing that's happening this rioting and destruction of property.. However it's entirely understandable. The government have taken no notice of the people dissatisfaction for years now... British people have continually been quiet on this subject..but the govt have pushed us to our limits... and now.. I sincerely hope that the powers that be don't just see this as a ''tantrum''... but instead really understand the meaning behind what the people are trying to convey.. ... after years of attempting to get the government to do something, using much more civilised methods..

Every tax payer will be paying for this destruction and violence. How is looting stores making a point. Many businesses will be lost. Fewer people will be joining the police forces. IMO, the whole thing and every riot like it is a disgrace.

Plain as day how though??

with no evidence or figures or stats or anything - how is this plain other than by your perception?

I know it is a nuisance when people want actual evidence or sources of claims and you haven't got any.

so people claiming these rioters represent the country (eg why isnt the government listening to 'the country' ) - are also saying Britain is not racist??

and think the suspect would not have faced any racism in his life in Britain - as if these rioters who supposedly represent everyone wouldnt have displayed any racism toward black people, or children of immigrants before this (of course that doesnt justify what suspect did and I am not saying that)

Riots started by one suspect committing one crime - yet no riots started when white people committed similar crimes - why not?

and the anti illegal immigrants rioters haven't even got their facts right - suspect was born in Cardiff ,was not an immigrant, let alone an illegal one

seems more like an excuse for thuggery to me -as usual by racist thugs (sorry Tazx , I have no issue calling them such) who have little critical thinking skills.

I think right wing is just an inflammatory label used to divide and anger people further. The crowd of protesters just look like regular Brits who are fed up with boatload after boatload of migrants arriving in their country in recent months with no let up and then committing violent crimes against their children. England is such a small country they must feel the pressure of immigration much more than America or Australia where there is at least, more physical space.

I don't understand the left wing British media. They label you 'far right' when all that you want is for your country to return to normal.
The left has moved so far left that the middle now looks like the far right to them.

Bill Maher explains it here: Bill Maher Fires Back At Those Who Say His Politics Have Changed, Blames Looney Left Policies

Maybe we can let the UK borrow him for a month or two.
Maher contended that it was not his fault that the party of FDR and JFK has now turned to LOL and WTF moments, where congresspeople talk of canceling rent and mortgages, canceling Lincoln and Dr. Seuss, and making Mr. Potato Head gender neutral, among other sins.

Not sure what the so called left wing media says that you cannot understand - but depends what you mean by normal

If you mean harking back to some idealised everyone is homogeneous mass of white sameness - and aggressively targeting people who do not fit into that - then wanting that is not reasonable or fair.
