Where does God live?

Wherever God goes, there he is. Oh seriously, the great poet philosopher George Carlin said that God lives in a garage in Boston.

Since ones Subconscious reworks the past day, more or less all the past days, one then dreams
what the Subconscious wants, many have no Self Consciousness control of stuff. I would hazard
to say a great many are mostly soulless, mindless muffins. Was it BG who said non intelligence,
low IQ, really stupid, ignorant, poorly educated, worser, looking for handouts, drag me downs!
But with the Lord living in a really soft sided black box, who can repair anything!

I can follow the first sentence as fact, but the second one and conclusion seem to be a leap. It would be interesting to learn how you arrived at that. Perhaps a definition of a soul would help.

Maybe your soul is just sentience, self-awareness, the intangible essence of you, your personality, feelings, the things that define you. You know you've got it because it lives in your head with you, maybe nothing to do with religion.

which sorta proves a point so far ; this thread is everlasting as God and we are?? and he/she is stopping with me for a few months OK?

Some would say that if you slow down a little and listen to your mind you can feel him moving around every cell in your body - but there is a requirement - when he knocks you need to welcome him in - he won't force the door?

I was on my own personal religious quest for 50 years, but never once even considered negating his existence (you can't prove a negative). The problem was that I could not prove his existence. It was a great relief when I resolved that I never could. Knowing it in your heart or having found the proof in the Bible is not proof. Although, it may be good enough for some.
My position on the existence of ghosts was always "I'll believe in ghosts when I am confronted by one and can shake it by the hand", which means that I did not believe in ghosts.

My position on the existence of God was much the same. Then out of the blue I had my own Road to Damascus experience followed by a voice calling in the night, waking me from sleep, as experienced by the boy Samuel. That is when I answered Yes, and I haven't doubted the presence of the Godhead from that day to this. It matters not what name we use.

The reason you have to open the door and invite the lord in is because
if you don't he is locked in his oh so soft sided black box.

A volcanic eruptions killing most all human types. → 1200 chosen breeding pairs left in
South Africa. then 100,000. Ice melted, humans exploded across the earth again. Moses
led a 600,000 man army out of Egypt, he was considered a military commander also.
They all wondered around for some years. Maybe they made a few enemies. David
fought it out. People believed the Catholic faith. Faith expanded, Bible was written.
Bible reprinted, re-defined & God smiled on us. Is he scowling some now?

The Jews still smite Jesus? Moslems call it Mohammed?

A happy, jealousy of triumvirates in power. Seems familiar now !
I still think he lives in a soft sided black box.
Not wishing to nitpick, but I think the military commander of the Israelites was Joshua? Am I wrong?

In his first forty years, Moses accomplished a great deal. The Jewish historian Josephus says that as its general, he led Egypt's army into Ethiopia, where he took an Ethiopian wife to secure peace with the Ethiopians rather than put them to the edge of the sword.

How Moses Made War with the Ethiopians.

Lots of hanky panky there for sure! Sure questions are welcome here. What else is there! Modern areas are different now.

I remember History Class and the teacher sort of bragged up Custer. It was the Curriculem rule.
I had read the book, raised my hand and said, what I got out of the book was that he was a murdering
sob that wanted political power. She agreed. I quickly realized, Nuff said !

Thanks. I did not know this. This would have been before he left Egypt after killing the Egyptian who was mistreating the slaves?

similar to Abraham being told by his wife to sleep with her maidservant who may have been egyptian cos missus reckoned she couldn't conceive and the maid supposedly produced a male baby who went on to start off the Arabic nations?? - strange but true apparently accordingly to Genesis [ no not the band]

My suspicious are that they needed to re-establish themselves, and re-build what was destroyed. Claiming to be God's chosen ones united their people, and served to distinguish them as a relevant nation. It seems to work. Some of the figures (Abraham and Moses may be little more than literary inventions since no extra-biblical references exist).
Didn't have to work, but it did, and took all the "known" Western world with it. The stamp of Judaism is forever on Western Civilization. Taking hold of the Jews is irrelevant; taking hold of everyone else is the marvel.

No, no, I hate to disagree with George Carlin, but God retired & sold the franchise to someone named 'Ralph.' Does Ralph live in Boston? Not sure, will have to check the document again.

Yes! Choosing? Or chosen? With so many viewpoints and so many translations, it is crazy difficult to understand.
The only tranlation that works here is Judaism. The rest took on a different fork in the road, but still parallel.

Don't you see the resemblance to Dracula?
