No one deserves it, probably. My guess is that 99% of "this will shock you" - "must read" - "instant karma" - "the point at which he/she realizes" are all click bait videos, news reports, and magazines.

Maybe less than a year ago I started searching for who organized these protest marches in Chicago and it wasn’t hard to find out.
You can support that as a worthy cause if you want.
What I see is a bunch of socialists and communists trying to recruit more members.
Yes! protests are legal but like I said they are nearly all organized by socialist and communist organizations. They are eagerly covered by the major news media and I don’t think that it is just because it is big news every time a handful of people march around carrying signs.Here it is again the myth that people everywhere are jealous of the US and think it is the greatest country on earth.
I'm not sure where the people surveyed were from - or the methodology of the survey - but, no , most people in other countries do not think US is greatest place or are jealous of your version of freedom or want to move there.
Calling other countries backwards just perpetuates myth of ugly americans though

I don't agree with that at all. There have been protests by right wing groups, left wing groups, non political groups about huge variety of issues.
I'm not sure what you are saying I can support as a worthy cause - I support the cause of some protests and not others.
to GP44 - the protests here I mean on this site are unfortunately governed by a "no direct political person or party criticism" you do follow that I assume? So I think I can make a few cursory comments about govt decisions and movements [can we?] but not level my discussion and criticism at any one party /or person ? - yes I realize that is not democratic but for further clarification you will need to take this up with the owner?? So with all due respect as long as you realize you are walking through a minefield as the dear Princess Dianna once did - best of luck??

To be fair, you don't have to participate if you are 'above' the silliness. America has been sufficiently beat up for 29 pages now. All these things people find wrong with the country. Many of the topics listed in the opinion piece from Newsweek have been discussed. To death. A little humor and side tracking never hurt anyone.

Well see here's the thing, Dennis. A few weeks ago, a thread was started (and of course, shouldn't have been and was horrible!) bashing Canada and it disappeared in about a day (as it should have.) This one about hating America is going on and on... so I think it's a good thing to have the subject changes. You really would rather see nearly 30 pages of people from within and outside of your own country discussing hatred of the United States?!?
I think most of us already know how any given member feels about the subject now without stirring it up again. That's why I did the Barney Fife pot stirring picture. Why fan the flames again?
