Yes, I had 2 mini dachshunds. One female, black and tan; one chocolate male. They were not related but got along really well. They were very funny! They both died of old age but I still miss them so much! Fortunately, we have a lot of well behaved dogs living in our community, so I get to see them and pet them everyday.@Rossana
You had a daschund (sp?) .. such sweet little dogs. My late aunt had one, named Tippy.
I hope everyone has a lovely weekend, and Happy Mother's Day
Today, we plan to go on a "dog-spotting" drive around the city.

Good Morning, Kaila and Friends.![]()
I put that racoon up accidentally, but decided to leave him because he's kind of cute and I like the way he just slipped himself in there.
I'm very happy to report that my hips are starting to feel better.I've brought my treadmill time down to 20/25 minutes and that is helping. Now I just need to work some yoga in and I'll be golden.
@CallMeKate, I will work for chocolate!
EDIT: Hope everyone is feeling good this morning! (I can't believe I left that out!)

Humor, comedy, laughter make life so much better, imo.. My mother said laughter at the dinner table aided digestion.
About to catch the bus into town. I want to have a look at laptops and see if there's anything I like/get information etc. before I finally take the plunge and buy one. The one I have now plays up at times and my tablet isn't very good either so I should get something sorted before it's too late and they both pack up on me!
When I come back I will be following local news. Youngest son is on a charity walk. It's an annual event which started in 1966. The idea of walking from Keswick (in the Lake District) to Barrow originated in 1966 as a result of a statement made by the late U.S. President, John F Kennedy, that "every American should be capable of walking 50 miles a day". The original walk was around 50 miles but is now nearer to 40 as the starting point was moved due to congestion. History of the walk | Keswick to Barrow Walk
There is also a shorter walk from Coniston Lake to Barrow which is approximately 21 miles and that's the one my son is doing. He's done the longer one 3 times and the short one twice. I went on the walk around 1970/1. Once was enough for me.
Hope you are feeling better after your dental visit, @Kaila. I will think of you and @RadishRose when I do my exercises.![]()
@Rossana
That was so funny,
that you said you're ready for that island group vacation, of ours, and would bring along your surf board or your ironing board (to surf with!)

There are limited routes for my local walks. I make myself look for 3 different things. It doesn’t have to be much. That tree is blooming. There’s an antique car. They changed their blinds. I never pretended to live a wild life. Please everyone, try to notice some wonderful things around you, and I promise I will do the same.
That was very interesting to hear about those walks Pam. Thank you for telling us!
I hope that you found some good ideas about a tablet or laptop, on your excursion.
I hope that your exercises have the desired results, Pam.![]()
