I know what Methocarbamol is. It was given to one of my horses when he fractured his back in a bad hail storm. It was his second SI fracture and the vet/chiropractor did some astounding out-of-the-box- thinking to heal him.
There are a lot of oral meds, topicals, etc in life, that crossover between humans and horses. Also products used for THIS which will work for THAT.
Over the yearsI have collected an arsenal of things that work (and don’t work) to help reduce pain, swelling, bruising, etc. I combine scrience & technology with things holistic wherever possible.
I am happy to share, if you’re interested please ask, as there are some on this forum who Pooh-pooh anything the doctor doesn’t prescribe. My husband was like that - he would spend money at the doctor for a prescription of Triamcinolone for poison iby and I headed to the soap shop for a few bars of red clay Jewelweed soap. The end results were the same and equally as fast, except my route was cheaper.
You have made a phenomenal recovery physically, just by typing and the fact you WANT to communicate with others, as is usual for you. That is a huge deal so don’t stop because you feel like you aren’t making fast enough progress.
There are a lot of us who can’t make any more progress than we already have, but we have some THING that. pushes us forward. I have not been able to ride a horse since 2012. My ability to care for them is fading but I push through every day because they are what is most important in my life.
You need to push forward for the thing(s) that are most important in your life. - and think outside the Healing Box while you’re doing it. I have had 2-3 medical professionals TELL me I shouldn’t even be walking yet I only use a cane. Willpower is a real thing and a wonderful thing
