It is a war which favors both sides. Each has its point. Best solution may be to give Palestine back to the Palestinians. But, then where do the Israelis go? No 'solution' adequately addresses all the possible 'outcomes'. And, unfortunately, in a situation like this the only real and lasting solution is that the strongest wins. Sorry. But, that's just the way of human history.

So, I guess you don't believe that the reported events of 10/7 actually happened, no babies beheaded, no >200 dead concert goers killed, no young Israel/German girl captured, tortured, beheaded while the Palestinians cheered, etc. To you that is just an unproven hypothesis. Got it. As for being "anti-war", most of us are, but Hamas/Palestinians have repeated said they will remain at war until all Jews are dead, and Israel erased. So your "anti-war" stance rings hollow since you support Hamas/Palestine. You are supporting the people who have vowed to keep the war going until their goals are met.
And for the record, the majority of Palestinians do in fact support Hamas. So yes, support for Palestinians IS support for Hamas.

Palestinians never had Palestine.
The people who started calling themselves "Palestinians" (some time in the early 60s, if I remember right) are people who lived primarily in Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon who had a shared hatred for Israeli Jews.
There were never any Palestinians who lived in Palestine before the 60s (or might have been the late 50s).
Palestine was part of the Ottoman Empire (Turkey) until soon after WWl, and was mostly a barren region where very small, scattered populations of Jews, Christians, and Muslims lived peacefully.

I was thinking the same... being "anti-war" is something I'd think most of us share. But by golly if terrorists strike my country, slaughter my neighbors, and swear they won't stop until everyone like me (Christian in my case) is dead, I'm not going invite them over for tea thinking they'll suddenly get all mushy and want to hug! I have to live in the real world... the other one is too scary. And strange.

They did not call themselves "Palestinians" until after Israel was established. That's what I learned in my college history classes. They use the term retroactively, and I guess that's their prerogative, but no country in the Middle-East or anywhere on the globe called those people Palestinians until the mid-1900s.
Jews called Palestine their home going way back to before the 1800s.
What Israel needs is public support from leaders around the world. They have ours for the moment. Will it last?
This is an excellent point. It is very easy to fall into the "confirmation bias" trap, where we only look for things we agree with, and dismiss anything we don't agree with. We see that on here all the time.

Slightly off topic here, but I remember teaching this very thing to my daughter. I explained that how we worded something in a search was going to determine the results we get. (And AI wasn't even a thing back then yet.) Example: "Can a sore finger be cancer?" You're going to get results that will totally freak you out! But if "Why is my finger sore?" the results won't even mention cancer. Thank goodness she realized what I meant right away and used her common sense in the way she researched.

I too hate war and worry about the innocent people on both sides. I absolutely hate religion as it’s been the basis of many wars and atrocities throughout the ages.
It reminds me of the John Lennon song “Imagine.” Imagine there’s no wars, religion, etc. I am also worried about a world war. Israel doesn’t need our money. Homeless people do especially veterans, poor people including seniors and children.
Understand this TT: Any money not spent will not go to our homeless, our veterans, our poor seniors & children. There is no will to do so, it will not happen, and leaving Israel & Ukraine in the lurch will never solve our social problems here.
