A fantastic day! 65ºF (18C), sunny and very breezy! Perfect day to weed eat and mow, which we did. Tonight, we are in a frost warning. Suppose to dip down into the 30's.
Definite autumnal nip in the air this morning. Typical "near autumn" weather in upstate NY. Last week it was sit on a cake of ice in front of the fan, now it's "start looking for a light jacket".
Raining moderately when I work up this morning. Has tapered off to something between a drizzle and heavy mist. Forecast says it's not over yet. Unseasonably cool (for a change).
Fall weather is here. We had to go to town this morning. We drive on a Hwy and Interstate 70 from our farm that goes east/west. The sun is directly in sight as you will see.
( Autumn Equinox). First time I put on warm clothes too. Temp was 49F.
Partly cloudy, mostly sunny, but on the windy side which makes it seem cooler. I feel sorry for the orb weaver spider out on the deck. It's getting buffeted back and forth in the wind. It's got its legs pulled close to its body, trying to hold on.
Coastal NC is expecting 12-15 waves tomorrow? I see clouds rolling in right now but I plan take the dogs for a bike ride asap.
I need to find a better Local TV coverage of this. It's not a hurricane but it looks really big on my phone, yellow in the center and quite close.
I don't trust my phone though. They are saying it will be a Tropical storm when and IF it hits us.
