I knew the moment I woke up today that it was warmer and a lot more muggy than its been. A window fan is just blowing the oppressive conditions inside. Humidity is so high, I almost need scuba gear to breathe.

It's 10.30pm verry hot & humid... we never got the storm they've been promising all week...

Pushing high 90's F 35C + every day. Thermostat set at 75F and whole house fans moving air around but not exhausting it, only what the house naturally leaks out. When it cools to 73 F. we open the large French door and draw in cool air all night. Mostly 5 hours or so.

Ordered another 24" whole house fan that sets on swivel base today for next week's blast of furnace heat. It goes to our lake home as
August is 4 day weekend vacations all month. Yea move that air around ease up the AC at the lake is the plan.

Our home grown tomatoes are turning out 4 or more a day now. So good, much better than Hot House varities. ... ...

A little cooler today, but will likely warm up as the day progresses. However, it is insufferably humid - 95% according to weatherunderground. I went shopping early this morning and the store windows were fogged up.
