It was 27 degrees today and felt it. We are supposed to get a storm. I hope we do. We sure could use a bit of rain.

The temps actually got down to a comfortable lever overnight, but the forecast says upper 80sF today with possibility of afternoon storms.

Not too bad. Only got 5.75 inches of rain in the last 24 hours.

Had a tornado blow through Buffalo near me. A few minutes ago had some serious heavy rain. This is through my window. There are trees across the street

Still a little windy and intermittent rain bands from "Debby". It passed well away from us. I've got the usual gobs of Spanish moss, a few palm fronds and some mistletoe branches in the yard to pick up when it clears but nothing else.

Today it was sunny and 27 degrees. My brother in law visit us today. Since retiring he bought a 1900 cc , 2 1/2 litre engine Harley Davidson. He’s got a helmet that’s Bluetooth friendly so he can listen to music and has leather jacket, pants and vest. A very cool bike.

Another downpour yesterday afternoon and it was raining when I woke up, but that didn't last long. 1.25 inches in my rain gauge. A LOT cooler today, but still high humidity. I leave my basement door open for air circulation, but it still has a musty smell. The forecast makes it look like a rainy Friday and Saturday in store.

The temp today was 92 with a real feel of 101. We are supposed to have a severe thunderstorm today, again on Thursday and rain is forecast for every day this week. A couple of days ago, the thunder was so severe that it produced loud booms, something I hadn't heard in a very long time. It's only 5:15 and it's turning dark so that means the storm will be starting any minute. The high for tomorrow is only going to be 7o with a real feel of 71.

We're supposed to get the remnants of TS Debby (she spells it differently) on Friday. Weather report says we could get several inches of rain. If things weren't bad enough in my basement! I was hoping for a few days of sunny, dry weather so I could bring up a few items to air them out.

Veyr breezy today... I've got a 30 foot Tarp on my washing line to keep it off the ground until I can use it for painting this weekend.. and it's so windy the tarp is dancing along the line from one end to the other despite the pegs and wrapping itself around...
