2024 - How's the Weather Where You Are?

It is 10 degrees here, with a slight snowfall and the road plow just went by.
I think I will stay home today, because I went out yesterday, when the temp hit 13 degrees, and by the time I went down the 350 foot drop to the main highway, the road was nice and dry and the sun was out.

I have not bought Swiss Miss hot chocolate packets in years ,but did yesterday and even got a can of whipped cream and sure enjoyed a nice cup of it.

Hope you are all staying as warm as you can.

We're in the 5th day of sub freezing temperatures. We had an inch of powdery snow yesterday. and today we're all the way up to 10 degrees. This past week has almost been like living in Alaska.

Probably received between 7 and 8 inches of snow yesterday. This morning dawned cold and bright. Its 14F now. but a stiff breeze makes it feel like 2F.

It's a heat-wave (22*) compared to what it has been. We got a couple inches of snow during the night and the snowplows have been up and down our road all morning. Tomorrow is supposed to be in the teens for a high. Guess I'll be staying in for a while. Come on Spring

I will clean snow off my car later when I get my mail. I am on the lookout for my Burpee Catalog!

But it is already online and has a 10% off sale on some stuff.

Their thumbelina zinnias are what I put into some of my deck hanger planters.

10 degrees here in the Southern Tier of NY, slight breeze, sun predicted ,with high temps this week.
Only about 1 inch of snow on my car, from last night. I am a little bit west of the Finger Lakes and they are causing 'lake affect' snow to the Binghamton area.

Here in Alabama is is up to 10 F /feels like 3F right now, but actually supposed to get up to 38 today, which should help get rid of some of the ice and they can open more of the roads that have been closed down for most of last week due to the snow and ice.
By tomorrow, we should be back up into the normal 50’s, with rain in the forecast for most of next week.
I am so ready to be done with this sub-freezing , down to zero weather !

All week we have stayed bundled up trying to keep warm, and I have been wearing warm socks to bed at night. I am so thankful for the electric blanket !

Single digit temps this morning (below zero in some locales to the north), bright and sunny, but the sun isn't warming it up much. A moderation in temps predicted for mid-week, but then precip.

It's 27 here and sunny. Rain and warmer temps start tomorrow for about the next 10 days. We don't have to shovel rain.

Our usual teenage helpers came over today & helped us move the rest of the split firewood we had covered with a tarp in the driveway to the woodshed. It was sunny & was in around 24°F. Total amount of snow we've received may have 2".

It went above freezing at about 1:30 PM today for the first time in about 4 days. The neighborhood stray cat came around shortly after that. We had been worried about him. The thaw is supposed to arrive tomorrow afternoon. I can't wait. This is Atlanta after all!
