Use culligan bottled water with cooler. Those 5 gallon recycled bottles are getting kinda heavy to be hauling though.
I've used the Brita pitcher for four years now. Our village water is loaded with magnesium, and village has old piping for the water supply. But, I won't buy bottled water unless I am out and about, and thirsty.Brita pitcher filtered tap water.
We previously used with good results, PUR and Waterpik, refrigerator filters. We now use Brita, because we can't put a separate faucet in this sink nor use a cartridge at the end of the gooseneck.
We like drinking dechlorinated water-makes tea and coffee more uniform tasting.
We also won't spend the money for bottled water.

Bottle water only. Reason: Just because.
I only drink Deer Park.My bottled water is spring water, and I love the taste over tap water.
LOL - "Dead rats in the water."I was raised on chlorinated water. It was normal to me. Unchlorinated water tasted weird!
One place I lived, I saw dead rats in the water.
Anyway ... I usually drink boiled tap water. Anything left in the kettle after boiling water for coffee, etc., goes into a glass container. I probably don't need to boil the water; it’s just a habit from when I lived elsewhere.
I do buy bottled water also. It's convenient when I occasionally run out of boiled water, or if I'm out of the house for several hours.
When I bought my last fridge they looked at me like I had a third head because I didn’t want a water dispenser.I like water to be cold, so fill up at the ice maker and then water from the dispenser. Not sure what that would be called.
That's okay, I wasn't expecting you to visit.I have absolutely little faith in anyone’s fridge water dispenser cleanliness
