Me, I like to argue.
Is it of consequence to you whether your "image" within a forum is of any particular "color" or venue? In other words, do you seek to please, offer condolence, boast, look for friendship, prove superior knowledge, wile away an afternoon?
Why are we here?

I don't have any locals to visit with, and I like to interact with people, so I turn to the internet. Years ago, say the first 25 years I was married, I had pen pals which helped me learn about people all over the U.S. and even a few foreign countries, plus some became good friends. I like the internet better than pen pals since it's almost instantaneous. I can talk on here without anyone interrupting me or talking over me so that's a nice plus.Is it of consequence to you whether your "image" within a forum is of any particular "color" or venue? Phil....why'd ya tell?
Imp, just focusing on your examples... one thing I don't like to do is argue. As far as "image," I would hate most to be thought of as boastful or judgemental. I've always been a loner, one friend at a time, so I'm here just trying to learn to interact with a larger group of folks, and maybe make some people laugh once in awhile. So I guess I fall in the category of seeking to please. What surprises me is how easy it is to unintentionally start an argument on forums. Is it of consequence to you whether your "image" within a forum is of any particular "color" or venue?
