Four Dead In Georgia High Schoo Shooting

Limited detail, press conference around 4 this afternoon. The killed numbers didn't drop but the injured seems to have been lowered from 30. Doesn't matter to the killed.

This is too early in the school year for this stuff, almost sounds gang or outsider related. Although some reports have suspect as student age.

Sorry about those posts, but I get so damn angry and depressed whenever I hear news stories about children getting shot in schools, no matter what age, and also school staff members.

When I was a child in Rochester, New York. This never happened. You never heard of this on the national news. All we were told about was air raid drills in case there was ever an attack. When I lived in Florida as a child and later a teenager, this never happened. I never had to watch my classmates die in a puddle of blood. Later when we moved back to New York and the small town where I graduated, there were never gun men entering the school and shooting at us or our teachers.

I can't imagine what goes through the minds of children, regardless of age, as they leave for school. And the parents? They must breathe a sigh of relief when their children come back home safely. Do they silently thank God for letting their children come back home safely?

I never had to worry when I sent my kids to school either. My stepson and his wife intend to homeschool their kids and provide socialization through group activities with other homeschooling groups, church and sports.

I thought I heard the suspect is a 14 year old male student who will be tried as an adult. And there were anonymous warnings there would be a shooting in the district today.

What the heck can trigger somone not even a month into the school year.

wonder if the parents of this one will be hauled into court like the last one was....

eventually I believe that's what's going to happen.. people will be terrified to send their kids to school...

Erin Clark received a text message from her son, Ethan, at 10.23am on Wednesday morning telling her that there was a school shooting underway.

He wrote: 'school shooting rn (right now). I'm scared. I'm not joking.'

His mom responded instantly, assuring him that she was leaving work. In a heartbreaking response, Ethan wrote: 'I love you.'

'Love you too baby. Where are you?' Clark said.

Ethan told her that he was in class, adding 'someone's dead.'

That would be a parent's worst nightmare receiving a message like this one.

Unrelenting Bullying.
yes, bullying, and parents letting violent video games babysit their children, unchecked internet, the nation turning it's back on God,
watching parents display growing hatred toward leadership, disrespecting authority, increased self-centered focus,

poo-poo-ing Sunday school where they teach "Love one another" and "Do unto others as you would want others to do unto you" and a focus on love peace patience kindness joy self-control gentleness forbearance faithfulness and gratitude

According to the article >

The US has suffered at least 385 mass shootings so far this year, according to the Gun Violence Archive

😲 What the hell is happening to the US????

They say they are charging this 14 year-old as an adult. I don't understand that. Fourteen is not an adult.
Same on Ohio, a discretionary bind over to adult court for Murder. Only, the minor can not receive the death penalty or be sentenced to life without the possibility of parole in any state.
