Alas, it was fun until I did it to a mixed-age group of kids, one little girl who was 4 or so. She actually wet herself and I caught (deserved) hell from her Mom. I was confined to plainclothes door duty for the rest of the night by wifey. :(
 

Oh boy, my building is having a Halloween party, and I started reading here, thinking I'd get an idea or two for a costume. Well, so much for that idea! ;)
 
OK, I looked at the costumes. I didn't see anything so terrible about them. There was no nudity that I could see. If I had a teenage daughter and she wanted to wear any of them to a Halloween party, it would be all right with me. Girls that age are not likely to be going trick or treating.

However, Halloween is the one holiday my girls missed the most in Australia--that sense of fun, humor, and quirkiness---maybe too much for the Australian mindset!!! :bowknot:
 
It is being taken up by younger generations and we do get a few children knock on our door, but not every year.
I have a black plastic cauldron that I fill up with lollies in case I get visitors.

I believe most parents organise a party and only go door knocking close to home but I have had a few teenagers who haven't even bothered to dress up. They just want to bot some lollies.
 
Lollies? All you offer is lollies? No wonder few come to your door, but I would come and wax your windows if you didn't offer something better than lollies...
 
Offer? Me? I'm not at home cause I am out getting my bag full, and as Caitlyn this year I might even get some coins thrown in to boot...
 
Getting back to the topic.
Those costumes really are criminal. Parents who let their kids out in any of those should be arrested for putting their kids at risk. A Pimp suit for a little boy! These go way over the line.
It drives me crazy when I see some cute six year old doing a sexy dance on TV, and everyone applauds.
Fun is fun. Cute is cute. Pedophilia is pedophilia. There are limits!
