I went for an endoscopy yesterday. Bad news is the doctor found a small papilloma that needs to be removed (no idea why he didn't do it as long as he was there, but I was still foggy from the anesthesia so didn't think to ask him). Worse news: he saw nothing to explain my periodic chest pain, so it looks like the search for a cause will shift to my heart. 😟 The pain is by no means excruciating, but like any chest pain at our age, it's unnerving.

I expect to hear from my PCP today about the path forward.

Out of town company coming tomorrow so today I'll spruce up the house and figure out food that works for vegans, keto eaters and omnivores. I'm leaning toward guac, salsa and chips, BBQing various kinds of burgers, and 2-3 different salads. Maybe fruity popsicles for dessert.

Yes, I wonder why they didn't take it out. I'm beginning to think that medical tests and procedures are being done in different appointments for some reason.
This is the second year I've been called back for a mammogram after having them there for twenty years. Granted I may have something that needs more views however, last time they just called me back, did some more views, then came out and said they were fine and I'd get a letter.
In this twenty years I would have several views. It took a while. Since I've had breast cancer they would read the xrays while I was there and let me know they were clear.
Since being on Medicare (Hmmm) they take three pictures and rush me out the door. The tech never told me her name and seemed surprised at my name like she expected someone else.
Now I've been called back.
I will be asking questions if it is like the last time. It's an hour drive to go in for five minutes.

I am so relieved, I am ok! Has anyone else here ever googled themselves like this into absolute misery?

It's unbelievable that my ex is STILL not playing ball... even after the courts have made an order against him.. what a surprise

He was supposed to pay a substantial sum to MY lawyer......don't ask.. but there was an agreement between his lawyers and mine he would pay that sum at the settlement .. and it would be paid along with my settlement in full into my account ... well he didn't pay it.

I had to contact my lawyer explain it wasn't paid.... so I couldn't pay it to her.. she had to contact his lawyers.. they contacted him, he then paid less than he was supposed to... and then my lawyer asked if I would mind paying his shortfall...

well..I haven't... I just want it all over and done.., I don't want to deal with him or any more lawyers that his actions brought into my life.. so I paid it... and now my hands are washed of him...

My lawyer who is very stern and straightfaced.. said to me.. if it's any consolation to you, I feel you did the right thing by leaving him... and moving on in life without him..

Well, today, we had heavy rain with lightning and thunder. It must have been the system off our coast. We will have more rain all week. I should not complain any more about not having rain.

@hollydolly, it sounds like you are really having a bad time with your ex. Please stay strong and positive. You are doing what is right.

I know how it is with Holly...my ex did the same thing with me but I got him good in two years. I'm not a vengeful person but sometimes ya just gotta do it.

It's going to be a lovely day morning in the neighborhood. The sun is out right now and it's warm. If we're to believe the weathernerds, we should expect rain early this afternoon. As we know, they lie a lot.

Going to make sausage/egg/cheese biscuits in a minute, then out to do some much-needed garden maintenance.

I read my book, which is not as much a historical novel about Panama but a romance novel, and fell asleep around 9:30.
I woke up once at 2:30 then went right back to sleep. I woke up at 6:30.
That was a good night's sleep!

Another overcast day today... not raining but a bit grim... apparently it's going to be like this all week, so no chance of me going to the coast this week..

I got an email from my lawyers thanking me for the payment.. but can you believe , despite HS lawyers telling mine yesterday he'd paid it to them.. and they would forward it to mine , they still haven't... . What a bunch.. !!:rolleyes:

I really need to go to the bank.. our banks have closed all over the country in the last few years... we had notice that another 246 are to close in the next 12 months. AS it is I have to travel to another town to get a branch of my bank now.. and that one is due to close in a few days .. and there won't be another one for me to use in under 50 miles.. so I need to get there today or tomorrow..

It's just a terrible situation... all in the name of keeping people banking online, and ultimately getting rid of cash...
 
Good morning gang!!! i should not have bragged about no
pain, cuz overnite made up for one day, my hands started at
the same time to pain like he$$, arthritis I believe, so I was up
at midnite taking a pill, dangit...ah well....no big plans yet, too
early in the coffee to think too hard....saw a doe deer on my
outdoor camera/monitor last eve, that was cool....rained like
crazy here...coolish day, 57F now hi is only to be 77f later, but
no rain at least....take care all.....;):love::coffee:
