Got down to 1°F overnight, now at 11° and might reach freezing. Full sun but we'll see if that lasts.
 

In this second day of my head cold, the very runny nose sinus phase of my head cold has now ended into a usual less congested viscous phase. A good sign my immune systems is moving through a common path for a shorter illness duration. Am not going to develop a sore throat or cough because I fought the start phase as best I could while on the road. Oral thermometer temperature this morning was 97.3F and no headaches or other symptoms. Also this morning used an extra COVID-19 home test kit that showed it is not COVID-19. Note I never take any over the counter head cold medicines for rare for this person head cold virus infections.

Well, it draws my attention, I suppose because we've been threatened by wildfire up here twice in the last four years. But also because it's the nightmare play-out of the climate-change danger world leaders have been warned about for 40 years.😒

I didn't say it was rare... the people driving in it in Oklahoma said it was rare
 
This storm should get to us on Sat. I'm not sure how much but we'll get some type of frozen precip.

Laundry today. Maybe vacuum up kitty hair and stuff. I dunno if I should get wild and crazy and dust...

DGS should be back just before the storm hits, but DD and I won't relax until he's actually in his driveway.

DD and six grand kids live in MI. I don't know how anyone lives there in Michigan..cold and so little sunshine!
The weather is nearly as depressing for me as not seeing my grand kids on a regular basis.
We have MANY Michigan snow birds here in Southern AZ
 
Went to the dentist today for a checkup/cleaning (no cavities, hurrah). Slightly embarrassed myself by asking the front desk when I was leaving whether the other hygienist had retired, and it turned out my whole appointment had been with the dentist herself because due to the snow they'd had so many cancellations they let the hygienists off for the week. I just have the hardest time recognizing people.

I cmpletely understand this...
I suffer from Face blindness aka Prosopagnosia . It means I don't recognise people's faces unless I've seen them many many times.. and only then if I've seen them in the same place..usually..
For example.. all the faces here I've seen thousands of times.. I know you because I see you in the same place.. but if was to meet you in the street I wouldn't recognise you.

At work because I'd seen the same people day in day out in the same place , I knew who they were on sight... but if I was say.. on holiday at the beach,..a completely diferent location.. and one of my co-workers were there , I wouldn't recognise them, unless they spoke to me..
It's caused me all sorts of problems in my life, noneless than people think I'm stuck up because I walk past them in the street.

Even when I went to collect my daughter from school.. I was terrified I wouldn't recognise her.. thank God she knows who her mother was... .but places like the dentist,the doctor, etc...I don't have a clue if I've seen these people before.. unless i've been there many times.. and again if I saw them OUT of that location..in the street or store.. I wouldn't recognise them..

It's been a terrible bind all of my life

Oh that is totally me too, I remember my mom being annoyed when I asked who was a person in a group picture and it was my father. But if I saw him sitting in his recliner watching TV I had no problem recognizing him.
