Sorry for your pain.My neuropathy is bad, hope the epidural works...soon. Had a cold front come through. Dusted our place with some snow this morning. That little stack of wood is all we have left. It worked out perfectly this year. The chickens and goats are happy in their house.![]()
Good thing no one got hurt!Yes it is Trila...
PD...the first time I had the cortisone injections in my spine.. I was pain free for about 24 hours due to the numbing of the area ..I could have jumped over a house.. but then when it wore off..OUCH... it seemed more painful than before.. but don't worry because that goes away after about a week.. and the cortisone starts it's job.. and within 2 or 3 weeks you should hav no pain there at all...My neuropathy is bad, hope the epidural works...soon. Had a cold front come through. Dusted our place with some snow this morning. That little stack of wood is all we have left. It worked out perfectly this year. Whaaaaaaaat?
I used "Blue Dream" flower for about a year for pain. So it works for me. The gummies work even better. What do you use if not THC?@Paco Dennis
I have found THC makes neuropathy Worse. Do an experiment and see if this true in your case. Hate to think of you in extra pain.
Glad you're ok. If there's not much in the frig, check the freezer.Morning gang!!! Slept fairly well all things considered.. it is
33deg F out there, and it snowed off n on most of nite, but
hardly anything stuck, it is icy out so there will be traffic isssues...Plan for the day is to see what I can salvage from
the fridge, not that it was full of gormet food or anything...
I hope they will finish the tree cleanup today, but I doubt it
will be done till tomorrow...so no groc delivery for awhile...
Lordy that was a stressful 26 hours, my worry wart mother
would have been proud of me LOL..catch u later.....![]()
Sooners - are you part of a baseball team?A beautiful Spring day as if nature wants us to forget her antics. Still fires on the ground and massive power outages. Cleanup efforts everywhere. Sooners are a tough breed. Friends will pick up all canned goods in my pantry. Fresh bread should be ready to take as well.
I use THC. When I do I'm home and staying home. It makes my neuropathy more numb, but there is no pain, just an odd feeling sometimes. I'm so glad it gives you some rest & comfort.I used "Blue Dream" flower for about a year for pain. So it works for me. The gummies work even better. What do you use if not THC?
Yep restored last nite about 830, 26 hr outage....@hawkdon, glad you're ok, but what a harrowing time for many across the country. Hoping this is a one-and-done rather than a harbinger of a particularly active tornado season. Has your power been restored?
Had brunch with (vegan) DS & DDIL at a lovely vegan restaurant yesterday. Great food and a nice visit that stretched out to two hours. The restaurant wasn't overly busy so they didn't seem to mind our extended presence.
TGS is coming today! As usual, his presence will mostly steer our day, but I wouldn't mind hitting the nearby Asian market for a few produce items if he's up for a little bye-bye in the car action.
Here you goSooners - are you part of a baseball team?
You are ok and that is all that counts!Yep restored last nite about 830, 26 hr outage....
I'm not up on your ailment, so I'm wondering if you ever have help with your needs. I sleep in my recliner & at times I feel cold, other times when too warm I remote control my fan on. When I'm cooled off, I turn fan off. Getting up from sitting to get something to eat is a shaky & tiring business & I've wondered if I'll eventually need in home help. That you manage to take care of your needs yourself is amazing.Well clearly I'm not as far forward in my recovery as I thought.. Felt sooo cold today, it was 64 deg in my house, but I was ffffreeezing.... and awfully tired, at 3pm and that was after having a full night's sleep last night.
I got on the sofa, and covered myself with a thick fleece blanket, and slept solidly for 2 1/2hours.. but still so cold under the blanket despite having 3 layers of clothing on, and when I woke up my cheeks and my hands felt like iceas soon as I did wake up the phlegm filled coughing began.
I rushed to put the heating on.... and make hot tea... .. so now at 7pm with the house warmed up, I'm going to have some dinner
Maybe subconsciously you truely regret your hair was not cut an inch shorter, and that regret is coming out in your dreams. Ya just gotta wait till you think the time has come for another cut. Think happy, happy thoughts about your present cut until then.I had another dream about having my hair cut last night. Strange because I don't have recurring dreams and this one wasn't the same dream, but the same theme, getting my hair re-cut (I've just had it cut a couple weeks ago).
I get it because I'm very happy with my hair, this new cut, cept it could be maybe an inch shorter. In waking life, it's not bothering me that much and I've just thought I'd get it a little shorter on the next trim. I don't know why I keep dreaming about it. Weird.
Oh bless you Elsie.. I don't really have any needs normally, but this last week I've been suffeing from what we think is either RSV, or pneumonia.. I can't get to see a doctor due to long waiting llists , but having listened to my symptoms in a phone call the doctor has prescribed Antibiotics, and inhalers of Clenil Modulite to prevent a flare up of Asthma occuring due to the coughing..I'm not up on your ailment, so I'm wondering if you ever have help with your needs.
