Both my daughter and I had weird dreams last night and stood around the kitchen with the “duuuhh” looks on our faces, waiting for our preferred caffeinated beverage to kick in. I dubbed my cup “Sani-TEA”

Later, I will take the girls to an interactive children’s museum. We’ll see how that goes.

Oh it's delicious..not eveybody likes it tho'... it's got a gamey taste to it, altho' it does have a lot of fat....but I love it..

I'm surrounded here by farm animals , if I thought too much about what I'm eating..I wouldn't eat anything.. I have to seperate myself from it...
I actually have been on a farm or around beef cattle all my life. I eat them. I eat deer. I eat pork. But lamb? I just cant. lol

did you both have something unusual to eat last night ?

I have just sent over an hour cleaning out all the medicine drawers, of out of date medication... some of it has never even been open, such a waste... I've bagged up the pills and I'll take them to the pharmacy at some point.

On all the other meds.. I spent time writing the exp date in them in red felt pen on the front .. so I can readily see it.. the writing on the boxes are so small.. and some of these meds expiry date isn't until 2029.. goodness knows my eyesight might be bad by then,..

OMGosh, yet another dark and cloudy day! We could really use some sunshine....and NOW it is snowing again. But, once the coffee kicks in my plan is to continue with my phase one Swedish Death Cleaning as we get ourselves ready to move into the ultimate Retirement Castle :) It takes us a while to sort and pack so it has already been just about a year and we're not really close to being ready to actually move. I try to do a little each day and have shared loads of pattern books, yarn and fabric with friends. BUT, a sunny day does wonders for my energy level.

Listen up! Pay attention! It's sNOw.

Actually, @hollydolly, it's not unusual for sNOw to happen in April in many northern parts of the country. I remember sNOw on Mother's Day, second Sunday in May. In 1954 Mother's Day was on May 9. One of my brothers was born that day, and my dad had to put the plow on his Jeep to take my mother to the hospital in a blizzard. And...in the summer of 1948 or 1949 our 4th of July fireworks were cancelled because it was sNOwing.

And @hollydolly that monkey grass stuff? It's a job I absolutely loathe. It's hard, hard work. Gimme any other job in the garden! When I first put it in, I had no idea how much and how fast it spreads and how deep the roots grow (about a foot down). Damned stuff is worse than pulling weeds.

Wet & cold today. Debating on buying some Dr. Pepper and mixing it with the last of my black velvet. Then will start on my Canadian Mist bottle.

A&W rootbeer just doesn't mix well, so back to Pepper.

April 10th 2022 Vancouver washington was hit with 5" of snow, hadn't happened for 108 years. Hope it's another hundred before happening again.

OK, potatoes are done frying. Time to eat.

EDIT: Forgot I also was about done with monthly payments to Affirm, but then blew $400 on various items I kind of need.

So back on the repayment treadmill again....

@Pepper, are you planning on buying a new laptop soon. Because of tariffs, prices are supposed to go up on new stock. In theory, old stock will have the same price, as long as they last.

Yesterday we went to check an older model laptop that was on sale. All gone.

No I can't buy right now. Son going on vacation. I might be getting his old computer. Also have colonoscopy soon. I will need his help. Thank you for reminding me of this Jules.

Straightened up the house a bit, threw in a load of wash, ordered a couple of jean skirts (good grief- hard to find modest ones), and had a fun discussion on another forum, that I stumbled across last night. We're only in the low 60s today, I think I'll have another cup of coffee.

Oy vey. Just made ACCESS ARIDE for tomorrow and I'm terrified. Thursday my kids go to Scandinavia. So, they don't need my tsuris before their trip. Last week a disaster. Can't go through that again. When subway elevator is finally put in I will have more independence.
you still haven't told us what happened, didn't you say the police were involved ?
