I have to go over to the Amazon place to return an item I'd bought by mistake. They use a local UPS store. Thankfully, it's a beautiful day, at least so far.

The item to be returned is a 300 foot roll of parchment paper! I don't even use it that often. Guess I was in a hurry when I selected the size.

I'll probably run into the supermarket next door for milk, and canola oil. I'm craving eggplant parm again, so maybe an eggplant.

Everyone, enjoy the day! 🌹

DH taking a break from remodel. Walls are primed so next is paint, floor, new toilet, fixtures and refinish cabinet.
We will go one more day to help DD move. Her husband is home from back to back trips Friday. Thank goodness!
Last time I went my little grandson kept saying "Granpa". So DH is going this time. How could you not? 😊

My word, @RadishRose, that must be the size of a small log! lol. Or restaurant quantity….

@-Oy- and Mrs Oy …. Congrats on your darling granddaughter! So precious!

Was agreeably, severely tortured yesterday in a dental chair with awful moments of pain the young dentist did all he could to reduce including injecting novacaine 2 extra times during the process that took some time. I tensed up my body, gritting it out. As bad as that was, the thought of enduring more agonizing hours from 2 abscessed teeth with infected roots was a worse nightmare. 24 hours later now, am still swallowing Ibuprofen, though is improving.

Toothache and Trauma: A History of the Toothkey – Virtual Dental Museum

Apparently, 10% of fatalities during the Middle Ages can be attributed to infections from mishandled dental operations or unsanitary procedures. But ultimately, although a dreaded choice, extraction was necessary if an agonizing toothache persisted.

I hope you'll be past the pain soon, David. Dental procedures are no fun, nor are toothaches.

Both of us had doctors appointments this morning.
I went over my medications with the new nurse practitioner.
Was surprised that my A1C wasn't high.

Husband saw the orthopedic surgeon.
They discussed having knee replacement.

We came home & discussed it.
Hubby doesn't want to 'laid up" 3 months.

At 82 I'm surprised that the doctor would even consider surgery for my husband.

Today I had a doctors appointment
I had blood work done and he said the results of my blood work was great. He tested my blood pressure and it’s still a bit high so put me on blood pressure medication. I’m not happy about that but it’s been high for a while and I haven’t been able to lower it.

He was very happy to hear that I’d stopped using cannabis and stopped taking clonazepam. Overall it was a great doctors appointment. I like my doctor. He’s very easy to get along with.

After the doctors appointment we took our dogs for a walk.

Then after the walk we went into the government office and got all the paperwork to get my old age pension. The guy there went through all the pages with me. The only thing I don’t know is the date we moved to Canada. I only know the year so I might have to just guess.

Overall it was a great day.

It's a cloudy morning , at 9.30am.. I have a consultant's appointment at a London hospital this morning. I've never been to this Private hospital before and it looks like a bit of a torturous journey to get there, so I'll leave with plenty of time in hand..

Last night I had a weird dream. I dreamt I was taking a 5 star cruise to Australia. The passengers consisted of all the people in showbiz that I've ever worked with, including many that my husband has worked with and I haven't.. and everyone was very confident about going, the ship was beautifully made up.. the celebs were all in their most beautiful clothes

..my husband refused to go, he wanted to stay and watch football ( he doesn't like football in real life), and I was left to go by myself..but when I got on board , and the ship got on it;s way I discovered that in actual fact the inside of the ship was made up of darkened streets instead of cabins and swimming pools.. and I was the only one there, trying to find my way home, going through all the dark streets, where everything was closed, but being followed about 20 feet behind, everywhere I went by a strange man... and altho' he didn't talk I was given the impression that he was there to make sure I didn't come to harm

There was no conclusion to the dream

There was a conclusion lovely girl, you didn't come to any harm, so the bloke did his job successfully.... I would have demanded a cup of tea off you. 😊

Got brain MRI results yesterday, and as I predicted was inconclusive as to why I shake sometimes, and sometimes badly. My head shaking right now, tho not my hands. Not Parkinson's. No major strokes. No tumors. BUT. Seems I had a stroke within the last six years since last MRI done. It was small, doc said, and is not the cause of shaking but perhaps explains balance problems. Normal brain for an old lady in terms of wear & tear.

Got rattled & depressed to learn I had a stroke. Makes me feel even more vulnerable than I already do.

I can only guess. Your husband is becoming a stranger to you along with the life you knew.
There's hope that despite what he has made dark he still cares what happens to you.
I hope the conclusion is a nice settlement. 😉
