I think the most important thing about getting cataract surgery is to take all the eyes drops that the doctor orders.

Buy sun glasses to wear after surgery & eye exams.

I did notice that I needed sun glasses more after cataract surgery than I did before.

If you haven't chosen a doctor for cataract surgery,, ask friends & others who they used.

I realize that eye surgery has improved since I had mine done.

Good luck to any that are thinking about cataract surgery.
The only people that I have known that have had bad results were people with astigmatism's.

I went to the supermarket this morning for a couple of items. It only took me 11 minutes to shop. After I put the food away, I relaxed and watched T.V. for about a half an hour while having strawberries and ice cream. I started doing laundry (using my mini machines again) about noon. It is a process so it tires me out. After the laundry was done and most of it put away, I watched a little more TV, ate something and wound up taking a long nap. Now I have to take the machines down and put them away so my son can take a shower comfortably when he gets up at 2:30 a.m.

Good morning, boys and girls. It's gonna be sunny and warm-ish today.

And it's gonna be a stressful day for me in the bakery because I gotta tell Sir that if he goes, I can't go with him:cry:

Right now, though, I gotta gather my wits and my Self and get dressed and stuff and head out to the 🥐 mines.

11 minutes ?...wow. Do you live next door to the supermarket, Diva ?

It's 1.30pm...it's grey as a witches butt, 47 deg... and windy...

Today, I've Watered and oiled my car engine.. as you do...., and then I cleaned my drains. Completely clogged with moss and leaves from the recent heavy rains.🤨

Then I brushed down all the cobwebs from the porch roof... and the top of the downstairs window frames... those cobwebs get there sooo fast...

I keep on top of the back garden because I'm out there every day, but not the front , so they quickly gather pace...

Just waiting now for my new Rug to be delivered which I bought for my bedroom...

Accck!
Reading the papers they gave me telling about the side effects of the antibiotics I got this morning.

Makes me fear taking them.
Tendon damage, Peripheral nephropathy & so on........4 pages:cry:🥲

That's what often scares the bejeebers out of me,
and even sometimes does keep me from trying a med which might ease some problem for me.

Well, that plus the fact that I personally have had unexpected reactions to lots of meds that I'm told that others don't usually.:(

Thanks for the encouragement about the subject though,
@CinnamonSugar
And for describing that feeling, so well, and sharing it with us, @Sliverfox

I've been trying to brave up trying something new-to-me, that might or might not, help with some suffering.:unsure:o_O
The doctors don't often seem to guess correctly, for me.

Good to see you posting again Kaila! A long time ago, I got a side effect from a heart medication. One of my first cardiologists told me I was wrong...it couldn't be the medicine. Well, guess who got dropped. I found another cardiologist who told me the other one didn't have me on the right meds in the first place!

Hi, kids. I'm home. Actually left a little early today because...because I could.

@hollydolly I thought I was tired when I got home but not nearly as tired as I was after reading all that you've done today. Since @jet is gonna drop off and spread compost and fertilizer, would you mind stopping by and getting some of my garden work done, too?

Sir wasn't happy when I said I couldn't move to the other store with him. He said he's still thinking it over and may not even apply because it would be a promotion without more money. What? What the heck kind of promotion doesn't carry an increase in pay? That's why he's still thinking it over. I hope he doesn't go. My heart ❤️ would break 💔. Besides, he and NL and I make a really good team. We work well together and have fun. (Shhh. Don't say a word about having fun. Management probably wouldn't like it.)

DD is making stuffed peppers for supper but with ground beef seasoned like for tacos. Hm. I like stuffed peppers. I like tacos. We'll see.

@OneEyedDiva as you're in New Jersey, NY, USA, I've done a simple browser search for pet shops in your area. I'm positive one of them will have natural wood pellets as cat litter. Good luck dear!

This is the partially opened box he prefers over the fully enclosed one. It's from Amazon UK but you might be able to find it on Amazon USA. I've found over the years that some cats are claustrophobic and don't like the boxed in type of litter boxes. It was a worthy purchase as he's just nuts about it.

He can spray the litter all around his number 2s and the floor around stays clean. We appreciate it as well 😹😹😹
Thank you so much for taking the time to look these things up for me Supernatural❣️ I thought about it and decided to stick with what we've been using for a few months now because we like it. Arm & Hammer Slide makes it easy to clean the box after emptying, controls odor very well and is dust free. I really don't need to change her litter but once a month although I do scoop daily, sometimes twice a day.

Our bathroom is small and I had tried a litter box similar to the one you posted because it matched the bathroom, but it was enclosed. Our baby actually looked frightened when I put her in there, so I took the top off. Still it seemed to overpower the bathroom and I could tell she still didn't like it. Luckily I had gotten it from Amazon, noticed a dent in it and was able to send it back. I finally found this one that is stylish, not overpowering and prevents so much litter from getting on the floor.

We have a Petco pretty close by but they can be expensive, so I started getting Deja's supplies from Amazon. Then I discovered Chewy and I really like the company. Their customer service is excellent. I have her supplies on autoship, which is very flexible and easy to manage. Thank you again for being so thoughtful. 🤗

I’ve been making a lot of progress recently toward a couple events coming up, one on March 11 and the other in April. The Western branch of the American Rock Garden Society will visit and have lunch here on the first date. I expect to see a lot of garden friends from all over the Bay Area and hope there is as much going on in the garden so early this year as there was last. I’ve finished rebuilding the raised bed gophers had invaded, forcing me to remove all plants for over a year now. Can’t wait to watch them settle back in.

One way or another

Don't ask why I let this happen

Well, apparently I'm doomed and have been for the past 15 years. I just read an article listing five colors to never paint your kitchen. No yellow. Nope. No yellow. It's because yellow doesn't "evoke calm and serenity." My kitchen is yellow. Sigh.

Guess I haven't been calm and serene for at least 15 years. Whatever shall I do?

Lunch date with a couple of GFs today! I last saw one of them in Nov, the other just a couple of weeks ago at book club. We've been close through thick and thin for 38 years. ❤️

First stop will be the library to drop off a couple of books and pick up a few on order that came in. If my pals are late or I'm early, fresh reading material will be right in the car.

Yesterday, DH asked for some help with a project mid-morning. Because I'd gotten so little sleep the previous few nights, I was exhausted and bleary-eyed by noon. After helping him I crashed on the couch and did nothing to speak of for the rest of the day, scuttling my decluttering plans.

I needed something from the bedroom where toddler grandson's crib is, and saw stacks of things on the guest bed. Oops - I'd forgotten that late last week we'd cleared the wall unit's shelves of all heavy objects (mostly hard bound books and pottery).

That room has now shifted to the top of my decluttering priority list. Since 99% of the time, my overnight guests are my grandchildren, I'll probably put soft items like stuffed animals on the shelves. The wall unit itself is bolted to the wall, but anything on it can turn into a missile during a powerful quake.

I like yellow kitchens. They're very sunshiney!
