Well we hit 63deg F here today, very windy however, got a
man to come by and pick up limb from driveway and clean
up some others that have fallen...I managed to get the laundry
done, folded etc...also got some progress on my money spreadsheets on the new pc....so I'm satisfied with today...maybe
tomorrow take the day off, HUH!!?// :D

It was a lazy morning. I watched TV & napped. This afternoon I walked to the podiatrist. He & I always have such interesting conversations. He calls me his favorite patient. 🤗 My son picked me up.

After changing into my house clothes, I exercised (used my EZ Krunch) for 20 minutes. Then I made turkey burgers (one for dinner) & waffle fries, ate & fell asleep until 10:30. Just finished checking my credit card statements & revising my March budget accordingly.

Finally secured my tickets for the Corrs in November.
They are not cheap….i have paid £90 for a balcony ticket that is about as far from the stage as it is possible to get!
And i had a find a ticket site that would allow me to book a print at home ticket as I refuse to buy a smart phone.
So Yaay to Gigantic tickets and boo to Ticketmaster who will only send the tickets to their app for which you must supply a mobile number.
£90 is way above what I would normally pay…but for The Corrs I will make an exception.

I have a morning appointment with my GP. I have to drive about 25 miles into Columbia. Then way down to the last part of the southern suburbs. Could they put it further away!!!!! It's only medical stuff. Sometimes. Urggggg!
We have to go over the 24/7 pain I am dealing with because of neuropathy. There is no way to stop the flairs, and sometimes I feeling like quitting when they are severe. So far I haven't, so I don't think I will.
The thread about "Gun shows" Got me thinking. I found a show that is happening about 30 miles from here in late Feb.. Go get something that will be my "way out". Misa says no. It makes the choice easier, and I can see how that learning to live with real intense pain is useful, but when is enough enough? I will keep going without it.

I love The Corrs. Can I come with?

Got my new fridge delivered and installed, it had a small dent that Home Depot gave me a $200 credit discount for, the dent does not even show, it's against a wall...so I'm happy about the fridge deal. Today I'm going out to have lunch with friends...temps supposed to be in 70's today...all is good.

I didn't have a very good night so I am not in a very good mood today. I am waiting for my apartment inspection right now. I wrote down the three things I need fixed. I would have tidied up a bit last night but was so sick I could not do anything. I think I ate something that was not good. Maybe an avocado that was beyond its time.

Just be grateful that you're not buying a ticket for a London theatre.. in 2022 Adele was appearing at Hyde Park ( open Venue)... and they were charging £795 per ticket..

Not long home from having lunch with friends.. it's one of my friends' birthday today.. so we went to the pub for a Carvery meal... lovely lunch ..I had ham on the bone, and beef.. with veggies and Roast potatoes.. deeeelishus...:p

It's been absolutely teeming down of rain since yesterday... one of those, that if you're out for even a couple of minutes it soaks you through..

I put a big polo neck jumper on, and my Red Fishtail waxed hooded coat.. and it kept me dry walking from the car park to the bar.. and again on the way home when I stopped for groceries at the supermarket.. and to pick up a new Electric Can Opener I ordered..

Despite the rain it feels quite cold.,it;s 16 c in my house...now, and will be dark in about 45 minutes..

Yesterday I updated both of my websites. I'd been putting it off because my hosting service migrated my sites to a new server, making it more of a rigamarole than usual. Plus I had to get my head back into website building/changing mode.

The the sites simply explain we have moved from selling retail-direct and offer thanks to our customers, vendors and employees for their many years of friendship and loyalty.

There's no contact info (email addresses or phone numbers) because webcrawlers glean and sell them, increasing the junk phone and emails I have to field. Our current customers and suppliers know how to reach us and we're not in the market for any new ones.

I may revisit this soon to pretty things up just a bit, but it's ok for now. (We mostly hold onto the websites to keep the business emails alive. MaryL@XYZwebsite.com emails are only possible if you own the website.)

At one time I had 19 active website. Ay yi yi!

Another good day in the 🥐 mine. Every day there is a good day now that TL is gone to the deli. Lemme tell ya her latest: She gets p*ssy when she's scheduled to close (at 9pm) so "forgets" to clock out, thinking that nobody will know that she left somewhat earlier than quitting time. Next day she fudges the time she left. Duh. There are video cameras at the doors. They have time stamps. She may very well be on borrowed time. Wonder how many chances she gets?

It's overcast and kinda chilly here. Rain was predicted for today but is now supposed to happen tomorrow, lasting all day and Sunday and Monday.

About concerts...DD and DGD have tickets to a concert next Friday night. I dunno who, but I do know that the tickets were so expensive they put them on one of those no-interest four-month payment deals. Last payment today. Whaaaat? So expensive that it took four months to pay for them?

And why is DGD moving back home in April? Because she can't afford to live on her own and pay student loans as well. Duh. Yanno concert tickets are a priority. More important than rent, food, student loans and most important, independence. Apparently, DGD has decided that adulting is for other people. Mmhmm.

The most I’ve paid for anything else this year is £29.50.
They were not charging £150+for a decent seat on their last tour eight years ago.
Even their Blenheim Palace gig, which I went to,was under £50.
