We brought TGS home to his parents and brand new baby brother yesterday. I'm here to tell you, even working together and tag-teaming, DH & I were barely a match for 72 hours of an active two year old.
Today's list of things to do is filled with at-home projects. With my little buddy loving to go bye-bye in the car regardless of the destination, most errands were knocked out while he was here. I'm expecting we'll be taking him some this week, probably 4-6 hours at a stretch his parents figure out their new schedule.
As parents of two or more can attest, when it comes to time, work and attention drain, each new child moves parents past simple addition and the higher math of exponents. Two children are more than twice the work of one, or as my great-grandmother used to say, "One is like none and two are like ten."
