We missed the frost by a mere two degrees. Whew. It's too soon for frost...not according to the actual climate here, just too soon for me.

Today is laundry day, and there's a lot of it. Sigh.

Attention @CinnamonSugar! Sit up and take notice. You're needed by @hearlady. Her car needs to be cleaned.

@hollydolly I vote for short hair. It's easy to take care of, dries fast, yada yada yada. Mine's been short for 70 years.

pain to start, hoping it stays that way....got the social supvr

On my early walk at 6:45,temp was 38 but refreshing since there was no wind, went to buy local paper for myself& my friend Connie
This morning, I'll be walking to my church, the same route I took yesterday when I went to Walgreens. My church is located a block before Walgreens. I've volunteered to come help Sawrie, church staff member to help put our annual fund campaign envelopes together. A couple other church members will be there as well. It's a tedious job, but needs to be done. The envelopes will be handed out to church members this Sun
The rest of my day read NYT,local paper, maybe an afternoon walk
This evening on CBS, I'll be watching Season 4 premiere of my favorite show' Ghosts' at 8:30 then new episode of new show' Matlock' at 9pm,really enjoyed the pilot episode

I would have it short in a heartbeat if my face suited it but it doesn't unfortunately.. I mean really short like yours...

I've had it all lengths tbh in the past short, chin length.. shoulder length.. just the year before the o/h left I had it cut chin length.. didn't like it... it's also been past my knees in length in the past ... the whole 9 ... however today I was given no choice...

After leaving the house at 8.30am... I'd driven among the very heavy rush hour traffic.. blinded by the sun despite wearing sunglasses, so it was a horrible drive.. got stuck at the railway crossing for 20 minutes..unknown reason.. but then after that got clear.. I parked and paid...

Got to the College salon, about 20 minutes before my appointment.. several other women there too .

the way it works is the trainees are years 1, 2 and 3... I always opt for. the level 3 students..so at just after 9.30am.. they come out with the supervisor having been given a name of their client, they then call us in... everyone got called in , but not me..turns out, ALL the level 3 trainess ( that's 3 of them if you can believe).. are off with Covid... so unless I was prepared to let basically a child loose on my hair my appointment couldn't go ahead....so they had to make a new appointment for me for next week... To say i was pissed off is putting it mildly...

Anyway now the sun had risen a bit higher in the sky and it was a glorious day I took a trip 3 towns further north... to get Costco... I got there soon after it opened, I've never seen it so empty, even the petrol garage was empty... bliss... it's always packed when I go usually..

I filled the tank... then I went in to buy some paper goods.. and a heated throw... and several other bits but no food...then at 11am I find myself in an empty Costco Cafe ( always full)... having a hot dog and coke... :D

From there I went to the car wash and had my car washed and waxed... then I dropped off the huge bag of donation I'd taken with me to the charity shop..... then frrom there to the next town 15 miles west.... to buy some stuff I couldn't get earlier.. and to get it cheaper..and one of those include this years Autumn door wreth..

In costco they wanted £40... in the discount type superstore they wanted £29.99.... in the last town the discouunt superstore had them at £6.... ridiculous isn't it ?.. so it was worth driving there for it..just straight down the motorway not having to go through several towns as I had to going from the Salon...

Anyway long old story just to say it;s a glorious day..as I drove along the dual carriage way.. the leaves on the trees were just glorious, all shades of red, bronze, yellow, greens... ufortunately there's no stopping allowed so I couldn't get any photos..of it...

It's almost 2-15pm..I've been out since 8.30am... my feet because I had high heels because I was expecting only to go to the salon..and not be shopping.. are now killing me as is my back lifting that extremely heavy huge bag of donations...

I hope you aren't being tricked by a scammer. Please call your bank immediately using the phone number on the back of your credit card to verify that the earlier phone call was for real.
