Chihuly taught glass blowing at the Rhode Island School of Design during the 70's when I had the pleasure of taking many classes there. His pieces were smaller and more affordable back then. Those were the days.A few pictures from our last visit to Seattle and the Chihuly Garden and Glass.
Incredible art and a very relaxing place.
Right next to the 'Space Needle'. (Which I did go to the top of, thankfully there was fully
stocked bar at the top...)

Oh believe me that wasn't a boat jam lol... I have photos somewhere with real boat jams.. in the meantime here's one from google from the Canal boat festivalLooks like a boat "jam" to me![]()
..and the reason they look like that is when they were built ,hundreds of years ago..they were built to last...When I look at a lot of pictures taken in England, it reminds me of stepping back in time. I don’t mean they look old fashioned, but like time stood still for a about 70 years. The architecture is unbelievable so distinctive.
Pappy... do you really hang that flag up every morning ?.. I've always wanted to ask why many Americans do that... .
