This is the the Canal Boat Museum about 70 miles from me in Northamptonshire.. and is one of my favourite places to visit..

A few pictures from our last visit to Seattle and the Chihuly Garden and Glass.
Incredible art and a very relaxing place.
Right next to the 'Space Needle'. (Which I did go to the top of, thankfully there was fully
stocked bar at the top...)

Chihuly taught glass blowing at the Rhode Island School of Design during the 70's when I had the pleasure of taking many classes there. His pieces were smaller and more affordable back then. Those were the days.
 
When I look at a lot of pictures taken in England, it reminds me of stepping back in time. I don’t mean they look old fashioned, but like time stood still for a about 70 years. The architecture is unbelievable so distinctive.

..and the reason they look like that is when they were built ,hundreds of years ago..they were built to last...(y)

My morning ritual. Hanging up my U.S. flag.

Pappy... do you really hang that flag up every morning ?.. I've always wanted to ask why many Americans do that... .:love:

We only hang flags up if there's a major event ..like the World Cup... or a Royal Marriage or death... or the Olympic Games.. really because then lots of other nationalities are in our country so we show patriotism for our own..
