No, they are not poisonous. The goats don't like it much though.

Looks like a black racer. Not dangerous and good to have around. Eats mice and other pests. Very common here in Florida. I named ours Herman.

Just had a mini hurricane come through here awhile ago. Very high winds and a ton of rain. Almost covered our street. Still raining right now.
