Yesterday……other than at the lawyers in the morning……took some down time in the afternoon……then, took all my glassed pictures down, cleaned them, and stacked them against a wall, and covered them, all ready for movers to pack……the pictures, my tv’s, and my Mac desktop computer are the only things they’re packing…..I’m doing everything else.

Today…..have an appointment with my lawn mower for the front lawn…..supposed to be a lot cooler today, and there’s a nice wind.
Will also do more prepping for moving……for eg……rolling up the cords on my lamps and zip tying.

I have already cleaned the bunny cage since I did not do it yesterday. He got in it when I was getting ready to clean it so I left it overnight since it was later anyway. Now it is done for the day and I like getting it done early. Then I washed the dishes left in the sink from supper. I could not stand at the sink after making supper yesterday. Now at the computer till my friend comes to do our morning walk. If she doesn't come, I have to go out to the dumpster. Otherwise I will do that after our walk.

Well I went out on porch to sit, and it started raining!!!! but
it didn't last long enuff....70F outside now...no firm plans for
the day, may do a bit of laundry, or not....a little achy today, but at least the air has cleared a bit from last couple days....

@Liberty Hope the plumbago that I planted last week looks like yours when it grows up. That's beautiful!

It was an easy morning, and I was able to leave at 11. Woohoo.

I stirred my self around and cleaned filters on two a/c units
here...got one window unit in b/r and one wall unit in kitchen...so took filters and washed them and vacummed the
best I could...looks better....sat on porch a bit more, no more
rain, just a sprinkle now and then.....tired now....

Last night's pizza/calzone event was fun. Split up the leftovers. Small problem - the 9 of us ate so much that even with 17 pizzas and 18 mini calzones, the amount of leftovers going into three families' freezers won't last long.

Guess we'll have to do it again in a few weeks. Another evening with the kids (hopefully our other son & DIL can also make it next time) and grandkids? Gee.... twist my arm!

Going to the grocery store in a bit, maybe Costco also. (Costco on a Saturday - what am I thinking?!) Have some household organizing in front of me, too.

Its been so hot today ,no storms here so far , but on the map I can see lightening strikes up the west side of Birmingham and Stoke on Trent .
We went a walk and found a wood , it was so cool in there, when we came out it was like stepping into a oven ,The heat slowed dog down and so I shall have to take her on evening walks when its as hot as today .
My parcel arrived and I love my two tops and two PJ Bottoms which were in the sale at half the price ..
Its been a good day , had Trout for lunch ,followed by Jelly and Ice cream ..

6.30 here and people are outside with BBQs its the weather for it ,music playing not to loud .
time to relax .

Absolutely Boiling here today... 90 deg... and horribly humid, so I couldn't keep my sunglasses on for more than a few minutes before they slid off my face, and my hair was soaked.. it's almost 7pm... I've just got home from being to church.. the market and the pub with my friend and her mum..

next door is having a Pool party , Gawd alone knows how many are there.. about 40 people I think, and the noise is horrendous because at least half of them are under 10.. can't close the windows because I don't have AC here

here's some pics from today......saw in the news that soldiers were fainting from the heat today... not surprised the humidity makes it so much more unbearable..

@hollydolly … let’s see: oriental bowl…. Brown objects with slightly wrinkly skin that looks like they’ve been in some type of brine or colored syrup…

isn't this lovely.. there was a sprinkling of Poppies in the churchyard ...we have lots in the fields near my house.. but in the churchyard I took a close up of one... I don't know why I've never done it before..

I would have been hot here today, but we had a stiff S.E. breeze that kept things pleasant. Forecast is for a warm week ahead. We really need some rain to keep the garden happy.

Went to the Farmers Market this morning.
Hubby was happy to see fresh ,local strawberries for,$6.00 per quart box
He bought 3,, ate most of one while I chatted with an old school friend.

There was supposed to be an open air market elsewhere,, wasn't at last years location.

Guess I'll try tidying up the house.

can you believe they sold these as crispy roast potatoes..?... that's what they're supposed to be.. but they were tiny..like the size of mushrooms, and coated in some unidentifiable coating...and served with chilli....
