Cleaned and made a pile of meatballs.
I was going to also make Cream of Mushroom soup, but instead, I made tomato sauce for the meatballs.

Heck I really need a maid, cook and chief bottle washer now.
Oh well, for supper I will struggle to open a packet of mac and cheese for the microwave and a banana and I may throw in a glass of wine to ease the thought of it all ...

It is not set up yet, so this back-up combination is still difficult to use.

They forecast snow for today... I ran around yesterday preparing the house and garden for snow... they've changed their minds, there is to be no snow...

I had a good weekend, although Saturday did not have a good start. We left the house on time, and drove down to the road, only to find that the lock on our gate was frozen! So we drove back to the house and got the propane torch and lighter. Drove back to the road, where Dio warmed up the lock and got it open. Back to the house to put away the torch and lighter. Then, finally, we were on our way...late, but at least we got out!
The drive was beautiful!!! The valley's were covered in frost! By the time I thought to take pictures, we were past the best ones, but I did (sort of) get two nice pictures. Of course, it looked even better in person!
By the time we got to the rink, we were later than usual, but we still had plenty of time to open up....right? WRONG!!! The private party was already there...an hour early!!!! Anyway, it all worked out, and everyone had a good time!

You're right, the sky looks really heavy , and it's bitter cold too... I'm not entirely convinced we won't get any snow..
