What are you doing today 2023

Air quality improved here yesterday, after the rain. Today I will go outside. I need to go to the dumpster and am hoping my BF will take me to Price Chopper to get special greens for Rabbit. He has to come here for an appointment so I will see since on Friday nights he usually works at the races.

Yesterday my aide did a lot of work for me. I felt funny watching her work so hard. But she is 22 and a tiny thing but a ball of energy. She finishes one thing super fast and does a great job and wants another one.

Today I am going to take it easy because all the work of the last few days has caused my knees a lot of pain. I will still do stuff but nothing too difficult.

LOL..I've had my senior railcard for a couple of years now, but whenever I go to use it the trains are on strike. I've only managed to use it once..

There is water falling from the sky!!!!! This is the first rain we've had in 3 weeks!!!

Yesterday, the Dentist worked in my mouth for 1 1/2 hours. The only time I could rest my jaw was while various molds were setting. He got a lot of work done, and I'm glad! By the time the novocaine wore off though, I wasn't feeling too good. I was looking forward to a shower and going to bed early. But then we heard a loud BANG and our power went out!! Well, it was still light enough outside, barely, that I was able to read my book for a while.

I feel fine this morning. I still have a fat lip, but it's already going down. I'm ready to get this day started!
 
Good day , today i made a youtube video of my garden before the Thunder Storm hits tomorrow , fingers crossed it wont bash the flowers to much , .
Its been a while since i uploaded to YT and there is a few changes made , hope ive put it in the right catergory , not made for Children so for Adult , which all sounds a bit iffy.
Hope everyone as a restful day and night .
 
I've been in the garden for an hour, indoors for an hour.. and repeated a couple of times. It's Sunny and hot..80 deg but my garden is a suntrap so it's like 90 out there.. so it's too hot all of a sudden from mid 60's.. to this today for me to stay out for a long period of time. It' past 3.30pm now.. I'm sitting next to the open window in a strappy Top, and shorts... with a cold coke..No Ac remember....

No thunderstorms predicted here..well not yet anyway, they might predict it later today...for tomorrow..

I know what you mean about YT..I always feel when I put that my video is not for children, and is adult only that some nefarious act is going on...

I'm so happy your aide got a lot done for you. Is your place back to normal now? I hope your aide comes back! Rest those knees.

Somebody light a fire🔥 under me. I can't seem to get off the dime and get going. Those flowers aren't going to plant themselves.

I worked alone this morning, and guess what? When the clock struck 11, I was outta there even though the work wasn't all done. It'll still be there tomorrow...

Sir pulled a manager-on-duty shift and had to work yesterday afternoon until close so didn't work in the bakery yesterday morning. Newest Lady was there alone. Today is Sir's day off.

Today Newest Lady, who's cross-trained in the deli, got recruited to work there. She's off tomorrow so everything I left today *should* get done in the morning. By me. Why do I think tomorrow's shift won't end until noon? LOL
 
Making pizza and calzones today. :cool: :love:
Had planned to do so last weekend but some unexpected problems arose. No permanent harm.

DD and DS's families are coming this afternoon/evening for the pizza making. Other son is working late hours so he and DDIL won't make it this time.

On Tuesday I made enough dough for 20 pizza crusts. They're continuing to get happy in the garage fridge and will start coming out to warm to room temp shortly. Each crust makes either a 15" pizza or about 6 calzones. Will eat some tonight, freeze some, and send some home with DD and DS.

3 lbs of ricotta (for the calzones) is drying out right now. It's weighted down in a large colander lined with coffee filters to drain excess liquid. Whatever ricotta is left over will go into a big tray of baked ziti tomorrow. I bake it, then cut it into small portions, plastic wrap and freeze for future meals. Baby grandson loves eating baked ziti for lunch!

Time to move along from SF to make sure everything is ready for the pizzas and calzones! Have a great day, all!

@hollydolly I am not an iPad user but imagine it works the same way. You should find Bluetooth under settings - check it's turned on. Also, have a look to see which devices your iPad Bluetooth is paired with - it should show the keyboard as a paired device. (y)
 
Had unexpected signing of papers at the lawyers this morning.
The new property tax bills are apparently out…..the lawyers office called…..asked me to bring them in…..haven’t checked my mail in a week.
Nope…..mine weren’t in the mail yet.
Stopped in and told them, not yet.
So……..
For whatever reason…..they had me stay…..and sign all the paperwork that I was going to do at my appointment next Friday.
Seeing that’s done now…..cancel appointment for next Friday.
Now…..I’ll keep checking the mail for the 2023 tax bill, and drop it off at the lawyers.
If they’re not in my mail by the time I leave…..lawyer will try and get the tax bill from the town office…..with a small charge to me, because the town can be so freaking slow.

Another thing off the to do list.
 
Pleased and happy to report that the delphinium, balloon flowers, guara and verbena have been planted and appear to be happy in their new homes. I'm gonna go out and put the "Grow dammit" sign next to the delphinium.

It's hot 🔥 out there.

DD got 🍕 last night so I'm dining on leftover 🍕. Dining. You can tell I have class because I don't just eat, I dine.
