What's for dinner ( or lunch )

think I'm losing my mind. I've sat here for the last 10 minutes thinking.. and I cannot remember if I had any dinner tonight..

It's 11.30pm now... I've just put a steak pie in the Airfryer... but I genuinely can't remember if I had dinner tonight already or not..

Comfort food for sure. Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, spring greens salad. Now munching on cherries fresh from the farmer's market while watching the ball game.

Shrimp Linguinie.
Cooked the shrimp in olive oil, Mrs Dash, minced garlic, lemon zest, butter, Worcestershire, Soy, and Marsala
poured the drippings over the noodles, then the shrimp on top, then fresh squeezed lemon over all, and Parmesan

I lost my sense of taste and smell related to Covid. I had a craving for Chinese food which I had for lunch and dinner. While eating it tonite, i added more soy sauce because i felt like it needed more taste. Then I forgot, i have no taste. I was telling my sister and she said "waste of money, just eat a piece of cardboard". LOL

Tonight I had Pork chops coated in Chinese Peking sauce... buttered Brussels and tempura coated potato fritters... I don't often eat dessert at a meal ..but I had some fresh cream in the fridge fast approaching it's sell by date, so I opened that and had it with Chocolate coated swiss roll slices.. :p🫣

The carrot and ginger side dish I made night before last (I think) needed tweaking--I think I had too much ginger-to-carrot ratio, it was very "sharp" tasting. I had 1/3 of a so-so honeycrisp apple that I chopped, stewed and added to it with a little extra apricot fruit spread... Now that was *good* and went beautifully with the piece of honey ham!

Battered fish Fingers.. and baked beans..
