We plan on going to the local Rudy's BBQ for lunch.
My Wife will have the turkey breast, with cole slaw and potato salad.
I'll have sliced brisket (with the burnt ends removed), and new potatoes with a dash of butter.
We both will have wheat bread and unsweet ice tea.
I might indulge in a banana pudding cup, but we will see.

I was going to have tempura Prawns for tea tonight.. but as I'd batched cooked a big pan of minced beef, potatoes, leeks, peas and mushrooms.. to be portioned and frozen, I thought I may as well have a plate of that for dinner..

I had a Chocolate covered peppermint ice cream/lolly after dinner
I just portioned up about twelve pounds of ground beef for the freezer. Kept out some, thinking a good hamburger would be perfect for Friday night. I also restocked bacon for the freezer and baked a pound of that. Could slap some bacon, cheese and the normal produce and have a fancy burger.

I am not a burger lover.. so instead of portioning up raw minced beef to be used for various things.., I thought I'd cook it all up with veggies.. instead.... so it's just a matter of thawing and zapping in the MW when I want it.. ...

Dinner or as we call it.....Teatime....lol, consisted of a fish supper from the chippy....wee drop salt, vinegar and broon (brown) sauce. It hit the spot I'm pleased to say. Identical to this
