No, but I did drink a can of Olympia beer once. Sorry, I'm joking. I did live at Everett and near Cashmere when I was young, back in the early 50s. My mom and older brother both went to school in Everett and I'm thinking they had the same teacher. Love that area! We used to get the Applets and Cotlets from Cashmere. Are those still made and sold there?

I lived on Bainbridge Island, near Seattle, for 18 years. Wonderful place. Right now, my compassion goes out to Washington state. That train crash near Olympia sounds horrible.

Now, southern Oreegone on the good side of the cascade range
where renegades gather...seems

I used to live in that general area. I lived near Lake Mayfield, which is just south of Centralia/Chehalis. I really miss living in Washington, especially western Washington.
If I could live anywhere in the whole world, I would live somewhere near Astoria, Oregon, which is just across the river from Washington State.
There are beautiful little towns all up and down the seaside in both states, and Astoria is a large enough town to have everything I needed, and small enough to easily drive around in.
We lived in Spokane when Mt. St. Helens erupted, so even though we were not impacted by the eruption itself, we definitely got our share of the ash fallout, which blanketed most of Washington State, and parts of Idaho and Montana.
Here is what the volcano looked like before and after the eruption.

Edit to add:
I now live in Alabama, a long way from home for this Idaho girl; but I like the warmer climate and not having to shovel any more snow.
