Early morning for me - up at 5:30. Will grab a nap later if I can, if not? 🤷‍♀️

I'm planning to hit a couple of grocery stores this morning for fresh fruits, veggies, almond milk, bread and the like. Also the library to drop off a book or two and pick up one that I ordered.

As the much-admired, late Mr. Rogers would say, it'll be a beautiful day in the neighborhood. 58° and marine layer making it hazy this morning; 76° and sunny this afternoon.

@hawkdon Hmph. I ate breakfast hours ago:mad:

Speaking of breakfast, DD brought me "Just Crack an Egg" Denver omelet. All you do is add an egg and contents of the little packets and nuke. They cost around $2.50-$3. Save your money. Tastes awful.

Gardenkeeping chores done. Now what?

I was sitting in the hospital parking lot in my car after a visit to a patient; the window was down and this little fellow ‘flew’ in to visit me. (Think how Woodstock, Snoopy’s friend, flies ). Just a fledgling; mama bird was having a conniption.

I walked around and opened the passenger door, he flew out. What a scolding he got from mama bird! 😆

There are some people with awful experiences in their lives that have made them bitter. I also have had plenty of good and bad experiences in my life: WWII, my parents dying way too early, my siblings betraying me, living in Germany, Australia, Canada, and the U.S., I never had anyone whom I could have asked for help until I got married and had children, etc.

In Australia one clergyman said to me: God doesn't hate you; you hate God. That made me realizing that I was bitter.

The late rev. Schuller, founder of the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, greatly influenced my life. He lifted me out of bitterness and changed my life around to be positive. His saying, "God loves you, and so do I" helped me to overcome all hazards in life.

Christianity means "love." If someone slaps your cheek, then don't hit back but give him your other cheek, and that will eventually turn hatred into friendship.

Seeing my end coming, I have come around to the view that only "love" can save the world. Love is a weak force, but in the end it can overcome all adversity.

Bitterness and hatred destroys you, but love is uplifting and brings happiness.

Time will heal hurt feelings.

Reminds me of when I had the moonroof open on my car, parked under a tree, came back and the passenger seat was full of pine cones.

Yes I tried those little cup of breakfast when they first came
out and was very dissapointed.....
I'd so much rather have biscuits and sausage gravy...

You're lucky it was only pine straw and not bird :poop: :ROFLMAO:

Jews go for "eye to eye," but for Christians it's "love." If someone slaps your cheek, then don't hit back but give him your other cheek, and that will eventually turn hatred into friendship.
That's an unfair characterization of Jewish people. I know many, and all are kind, generous and have repeatedly overlooked my personality flaws.
