Yesterday learned IVs worked. No signs of infection. Ready to go home. Not today. Maybe tomorrow. Bureaucracy.
My goal is to accept myself with peace. The new version of myself. Don’t like all this. It’s what is whether I want it or not. Fighting it gets me nowhere.

Well the doc visit went okay....they did another set of x-trays specific to rigth
shouldr elbow and wrist where it's so swollen,....bottom line they say
my arthuritis is very bad !!!! So they prescribe a methlyprednisone dose pak,
got 6 days of dosage start one pill with breakfast and so on....had
it before years ago....so we shall see what happens....so I've been crying
and hollering over damned arthritis!!!!!

Well you have it badly but now you'll have relief thank God

I'm so releived, now.
It's at least positive step for you.

Freaking Yay!!! Great news, @Pepper.

May I offer a hint on cream cheese frosting? Whether vegan or regular, the leftovers freeze beautifully in a ziplock bag. No loss of taste or texture. Result - I nearly always have both types of cream cheese frosting ready to go in less than an hour.

There is right now a zip lock bag of cream cheese frosting (I only used half for the cupcakes) in my freezer. Great minds.

While I'm still here and before I forget: Yay @Pepper! Kitties? Will you get to see your kitties again? Will you have a home help aide? In any case, I think people get better faster at home than confined to rehab or a hospital.

And @hawkdon That darned Arthur! I know how you feel...the "relief" I felt when I found out that the (literal) pain in my neck was "only" arthritis.

Okay...typed a couple of sentences and not fading yet. LOL

Every day I say I'm gonna be well enough to get out for a little bit. Every day so far, I've been wrong. I'd like to get out today because it's going to be our last "warm" day for at least a week. High temp tomorrow not even 40F.

Anyway, right now I feel kinda okay so going to make breakfast for my posse. Scrambled eggs (with cheese and green chilies), biscuits with sausage gravy. Are you listening @hawkdon? This breakfast of champions should be ready in about an hour...
