There is right now a zip lock bag of cream cheese frosting (I only used half for the cupcakes) in my freezer. Great minds. ;)

Arthur is just friending all of us as of late. LOL
 
While I'm still here and before I forget: Yay @Pepper! Kitties? Will you get to see your kitties again? Will you have a home help aide? In any case, I think people get better faster at home than confined to rehab or a hospital.

And @hawkdon That darned Arthur! I know how you feel...the "relief" I felt when I found out that the (literal) pain in my neck was "only" arthritis.

Okay...typed a couple of sentences and not fading yet. LOL

Every day I say I'm gonna be well enough to get out for a little bit. Every day so far, I've been wrong. I'd like to get out today because it's going to be our last "warm" day for at least a week. High temp tomorrow not even 40F.

Anyway, right now I feel kinda okay so going to make breakfast for my posse. Scrambled eggs (with cheese and green chilies), biscuits with sausage gravy. Are you listening @hawkdon? This breakfast of champions should be ready in about an hour...
 
well it
rained last eve about 8 pm or so....i just dd a stupid thing took first two inflamation pills with VINEGAR!!! whoops i grabbed a bottle of "water" off the counter, but turned out to be vinegar!!!!!damn quick spit that out, so now wasted two pills ......stupid....have a better day than me okay:mad::poop:
 
Knocked everything off yesterday's list except putting away the Christmas mugs & dish towels.

Today DH & I plan to pack an order for delivery later this week. Assembling this annual order is more labor-intensive than most — 3 or 4 hours from start to finish, maybe longer. If either of our backs start screaming we'll do half today and half tomorrow. We work extremely well together and have developed a great rhythm for projects like these. ❤️

Good cold morning, boys and girls. It's only 28F here this morning! 28F!

Let's all face the east for a moment of silent prayer that @Pepper is waking up in her own bed this morning🛏️

Yesterday I was checking labels on my meds while sorting them, and what to my wondering eyes did appear but a notation that has never been there before. I've been taking this stuff for 10 years, and this is the first time the label has ever said "take with food." What? So am I doomed or can I now change horses in the middle of the stream and survive?

I ran out of steam around noonish yesterday so didn't go with DD while she ran errands, and it's too cold to go out today. That's fine...the longer I'm sentenced to being indoors and resting, the more likely it is that I'll actually get better. I mean...spring is 65 days away, and I gotta be well enough to play in the dirt.

Today is 16-bean soup day. 16 kinds of beans, not just 16 beans, but y'all knew that, right?

Okay, then. I forgot that it's laundry day. First load started. Counted out my 16 beans because a whole 20 oz pkg is too much. Only making half. Washed, drained, brought to a boil and now soaking.

In my other life, I'd just be getting started, but throwing a load of laundry in the washer and prepping beans has worn me out. Is this the way it's gonna be forevermore? Hate to think that this one illness has knocked me for such a loop that today is as "recovered" as I'm gonna get!

Optimist that I am, I will continue to take my vitamins...

Reckon @Pepper is still luxuriating in her own bed?
