It's a sunny-ish day today... it gets overcast for 10 minutes then it's Sunny... but it's also quite breezy. Hot in my suntrap garden.. but it's only 67 deg...in reality

I was going out today, but I changed my mind. It's almost 2 pm..I'm now waiting in for a delivery....

Morning breakfast lovers !!!! Just got out of shower and 61F feels cold!!! But it is to get into 90's today so no worries...got
the care lady coming at 11am to clean a bit of this dump...and
have let the laundry go long enuff that I have to start it today...
Calling for storms tonite, but we shall see...otherwise no big deals....gonna call primary doc, see if he'll give me referral for
pain clinic, but bet he will want me to come in to see him first
so he can put his hand in my pocket first.....!!! Catch u later on.....;):coffee:🤪
Good to hear you sounding chipper!

Flowers watered. Nothing deadheaded yet.

Weathernerds must have defined cold front as much lower humidity. Right now it's 78 and feels like 78. That's a good thing!

DGD is feeling better today, and after she and DD run some errands, we're supposed to go to Kohls. It might be that after running errands, she won't feel so great. We'll just have to wait and see.

A sort of good day in the mine and out by 9. Sir said he'd come in, but he always says that when he's off on a Friday. I don't think it'll happen. He wasn't there when we left so I gave my order list to the deli manager and asked her to order. I can't order because I'm not "authorized." Can't do my job without the products to do it.

Bit my tongue a lot this morning. I really want to quit. If Sir had been there, I probably would have just given him a June 29 date and been done with it, but it would be a crummy thing to do to not tell him first. Maybe by the end of the month. Maybe. If newest person continues to do well and stays...

How about if I get one of those Bedazzler kits and Bedazzle the butt of my jeans with "I Quit"? LOL

Was 56 this morning,, think its supposed to get into the 70s.

Community yard sales at a small village near us.
Know hubby will be looking for strawberries & I hope to get few flowers to add to my gardens.

Squirrel running up & down the pine trees has Mac eager to catch it.
That's my kind of day.

I'm having a good morning. It's cooler and less humid than yesterday and I hope to see a little tennis this afternoon if I can. I'm smiling.

@chic,,,,,,Change of plans.
Hubby got a order for firewood.
Helped him load the truck & he's off delivering it.

I came in & took a short nap,,now making myself some stir fry.
He doesn't like rice,, so will fix him something easy, eggs & ham?

Looks like an all day rain has settled in.

Am thinking I NEED a trip to Home Depot.,, flowers & replace mat in front of sink & stove.

Been to the clinic for med refills and talked with my Nurse practitioner about that huge bill I had for labs earlier this year. She was horrified at the charge (900.00 for routine wellness labs) and said if I’d provide her with a copy of the bill, she’d call and see if she could amend the diagnosis codes so I could get the charge reduced.

Besides the regular stuff, I updated my budget spreadsheet with the this week's grocery purchases from Costco and Walmart. Studio time tonight. We worked on three songs within a two hour period. That's a record for us, but they only needed minor tweaks. I would have liked to have done one more but my son had a long day and busy week, so he was tired.

You know, since it's so hard to keep up with politics and candidates in general I decided lately to keep up with my local politics more.
Seems I know lots of national names from the news etc but don't even know the people running in my own town and county.

My husband does so I cheat off his paper but I want to know who I'm voting for. I'm embarrassed to even admit that!
My late husband was very much into politics. He was an activist and businessman who was well known. In fact, his picture was on one of the annual city calendars a few decades ago (before I met him). He knew just about everybody in the local political arena so I used to seek his advice about who was best to vote for. But for school elections, I used to ask my (late) DIL.

Spent a fourth straight productive day all day at home in front of my Dell laptop html coding 2024 pages for website containing about 100 new images captured in the field since late March. Lots of open windows and files. Excellent mental workout for a senior.

Might be done by end of following weekend with uploading last step. Lots of wildflower latin species names looked up. More tomorrow Saturday at least until noon from my rose garden work. Then in for some fun

Up and dressed in me best clobber (but comfy clobber) and about to leave home for an hour drive and a 14 hour wedding photography job!

Where's this 'Retirement' thing they talked about? :ROFLMAO:
We've been married for 50 years, and for 50 of those our wedding photos have been tucked away in a box unopened. I expect that many of the people in the photos have now passed away. In my last job I worked with a chap who had been a photographer, but he gave it up when digital replaced 'wet' photography and the demand for his services dried up too.

Hi all folks !!! Glad to be here....warmish nite to sleep, so had
a little difficulty, but went to bed early and slept till 6 am so
better off today I think....67deg now, around 90 or so later on,
it did storm pretty hard last nite, all wet, but no limbs down....
Still painfull hands, docs office won't give me referral to pain
clinic....so will keep on keeping on !!!! Catch you later!!! ;):cry::cool::p

It's racing towards 2.30pm this Saturday and overcast most of the time with just little glimpses of sunshine..

I've been unboxing and swapping around the new Microwave/grill with the older one...

Goodness me how heavy my older one is... it's quite big too ..1000 watts about a 1/3 of a size bigger than the new Flatbed one.. and at least that much heavier.

I took photos of it, to put it up for sale.. but I have no idea where I'm going to keep it in the meantime... it's very heavy to move around

I promised myself that I'd clean the inside of my car the first comfortable day. It's much cooler today than it had been for a while. I don't think the car's interior has been cleaned in at least 10 years. Dusted the dashboard (i.e. dustboard) and vacuumed the seats and carpeting. Can't say it looks much better being a 22 year old car, but I found some fossilized potatoes under the driver's seat (don't ask). Probably have to change the bag in the vacuum. Still needs external washing.

Got my hair cut yesterday with a few highlights. It had gotten to shoulder length and the ends were just a mess. Got a bob with layers through the back and big bangs, Much better.

Have a hunger for eggplant parmigiana, but not in the mood to clean up the mess.

Nice weather yesterday and today! Might make a quiche and visit the over-priced garden center. 🪴
