Israel Has Declared War after Unprecedented Hamas Attack

The head of Hamas's security forces was killed today along with members of his family in an Israeli airstrike on their house as Israel continued its bombardment of the war-torn Gaza Strip to 'destroy' the terrorist group.

Jehad Mheisen, a key leader within Hamas, was killed in the airstrike on his home in Gaza, a Hamas-aligned news agency said, as the IDF continued to hit hundreds of targets across the enclave including tunnel shafts and command centres.

Israel has said it is attacking Hamas terrorists wherever they may be in Gaza, describing them as 'dead men walking', and accused the group's leaders and fighters of taking shelter among the civilian population.
But Israel's withering airstrikes have continued to obliterate entire neighbourhoods across the densely populated territory, leaving death and destruction in its wake.

More than 200 trucks and some 3,000 tonnes of aid are now positioned at the Rafah crossing, Gaza's only connection to Egypt, to deliver food, water and medicine to the millions of civilians trapped there amid withering Israeli airstrikes.

But under the deal agreed by Egypt after intense talks with President Joe Biden yesterday, only 20 trucks with humanitarian aid will be allowed into the enclave from Friday at the earliest amid fears that Hamas will confiscate the supplies or use the deliveries as cover to bring in more weapons.

If Hamas terrorists do try to stop the much-needed aid from reaching Palestinian civilians, 'it will stop', Biden said during his visit to Tel Aviv where he met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The supplies will go in under the supervision of the UN, Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry said, adding that before any aid can be moved, the road across the border that was cratered by Israeli airstrikes must be repaired.

The agreement marks the first crack in a punishing 10-day siege on the densely populated enclave and comes a day after a blast at a hospital killed hundreds and put immense strain on Gaza's struggling medical system.

Netanyahu said yesterday that Israel 'will not thwart' the delivery of food, medicine and water from Egypt, as long as they are limited to civilians in the south of the Gaza Strip and don't go to Hamas terrorists. His office made no mention of fuel, which is badly needed for hospital generators.

UNbelievable. What the heck is wrong with people??!! Using a 2013 photo of deceased children in Syria to claim it just happened in Gaza? Good gracious. I would have SOOO much to say about this, but since it involves a Muslim congresswoman, I realize I can't because that *is* political. 😩 But it P's me off somethin' terrible.

Everyone wants to be on the side that's winning/getting the most attention ...etc.
And they will stop at nothing to promote their ideology.

I am totally fascinated by all the people out there who are certain then know what is happening and who to blame. The hospital bombing is a great example, The group at fault is the one they don’t like. That seems to be proof enough for them. I just don’t see how that does much good.

What bothers me even more is that people are so quick to believe terrorists. It's like the thought never enters their mind that the kid in a photo all bloody or covered in rubble was very likely a set-up photo op. Brain cells are rapidly lost when one can't see past party line propaganda. Maddening. Did those people never pay attention in history class? That's what terrorists *do.*

I received a phone call from a United pilot that flies long haul freight from Washington, D.C. to Israel. He said that on Saturday or Sunday, two pilots were pulled off of a El Al Israel Airlines cargo Boeing 747 and shot and killed while on the tarmac. The plane was loaded with cargo departing for New York. United has suspended their flights because of this. United lists it as a temporary situation. My friend that I was speaking to called me from Frankfurt and was being rerouted back to New York. He said now might be a good time to apply for a pilot's job with United. I hope he was kidding.

She's the same congresswoman who is still claiming there was a direct hit on the hospital by Israel.
And I'm really glad to see the media coming down hard on that lie. The terrorists are getting more and more desperate (and vicious) in trying to encourage antisemitism whenever they can. So they bomb a hospital and then blame it on Israel?

Of course, those who want to believe these terrorists will believe them, in spite of the murder, destruction, and human misery they promulgate.
Most of the world is smarter than that. And there is nothing political about saying that.

Several American media outlets, as well as others around the world, rushed to print or broadcast that Israel bombed a Hamas hospital based on a single claim by Hamas. News media used to have standards that required at least two sources before claiming a story was true, not anymore for some.

Individuals should not automatically believe Breaking News and instead wait for verifications. Breaking news nearly always changes in some ways once there is time to investigate.

Israel, the US and many other countries have intelligence agencies, satellite views and other ways to prove what actually happened. Just wait a bit and the truth will likely come out as it has in the misfired Hamas missile that hit a hospital parking lot.

There will be casualties actually caused by Israel and photos of them. It is horrible when children are injured or killed but it will be impossible to have safety in Israel without driving out Hamas. When I see these I remember how we got here.

I remember there was peace and Israel wasn't bombing anyone before Hamas terrorists chose to cross the border into Israel and murder civilians in their beds, murder babies in their cribs, cut off their heads, rape women and take men, women and children into Gaza as hostages and that those hostages are still held by Hamas terrorists. Had Hamas not chosen to do these things there would likely still be peace in Gaza today.

Mostly believe that Terrorist groups and countries supporting them use fundamental Marxism & they went to school in Moscow to learn it.

Maybe the Cool part is Marx was Jewish, a spoiled lil rich kid, from Germany, Laughed when his family passed cause he inherited more money. Basically a PHD & Socialist Revolutionary. Sound familiar. Ended up dying in London. Maybe the real sound part was the plan to replace god, make himself equal to god. That sounds familiar also.

Basically remove religion, remove family values, remove societies past history, make men sheeple basically. The Rich stay rich and the average sheeple worthless.

Not at all consistent with the munitions the IAF has been turning whole buildings into rubble with.
Only a fool would believe they were responsible at this point.

And yet, the lie is out there and will be repeated forever, all of it blamed on Israel.
And this will serve as a counter to the atrocities committed by Hamas in their invasion of Israel.

The lie will be told over and over again on college campuses and terrorist recruiting videos for decades.

The squad will scream the lie in defense of terrorists with crocodile tears rolling down their cheeks.

Utterly infuriating.

you can't really trust any of them tbh... but here in the UK sky news is pretty neutral.. the telegraph is massively Pro Palestine, and the Guardian pro Israel...

Telegraph UK is pro Palestine? There's an article title this morning that reads "Sickening anti-Israel bias in the West..." It's behind a paywall but most of their titles seem very anti terror, and pro Israel.

well that's odd because all last week I was reading anti-Israel rhetoric...

The Video I watched showed the rocket explosion probably over 1000' altitude, then falling straight down to the ground.

Where it again exploded probably the solid fuel going bang after the warhead up there in the air went bang.

Maybe it was intercepted or hit by ground fire?

From the Telegraph today...

An open letter signed by well-known actors condemning Israeli military actions has been criticised for failing to mention brutal terror attacks carried out by Hamas.

More than 2,000 artists, actors and musicians in the UK, including Tilda Swinton, Steve Coogan, Charles Dance and Maxine Peake, signed the letter.

They called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and for “our governments to end their military and political support for Israel’s actions”.

“Our governments are not only tolerating war crimes but aiding and abetting them,” the note, written by Artists for Palestine UK, added.

However, it did not mention the terror group Hamas - or the massacres it carried out earlier this month.

On Wednesday night, a former actor-turned-Tory MP said it was important to address “both sides” and that actors ought to think carefully before weighing in on such a sensitive issue.

So, how do you get the correct information out and in a way that people will listen?
Also, people keep saying that Hamas doesn't represent the Palestinians. The Palestinians elected Hamas. If they feel duped they should turn on them and fight them.
Since it's easy to be misled by mainstream media, we have to do the research ourselves. Or we can wait. And there's nothing wrong with that; the truth usually surfaces at some point.

But while we monitor situations like this it's important to check the original sources of news reports. TV "news anchors" simply read what's handed to them and newspapers basically copy/paste reports that land on their desks and laptops. There aren't many investigative journalists around anymore, only people who can write sensational headlines.

It appears to have broken apart mid-flight. That can happen when they aren't well-made and/or checked for quality-assurance.

Nearly five hundred of the almost 7,000 rockets fired at Israel - at Israeli civilians - during the course of this war have landed in the Gaza Strip.

This time, however, was different.

Hamas immediately went on a media blitz. The headlines soon followed, in the best case followed by a caveat of “says Gaza Ministry of Health”.

Make no mistake. The Gazan Ministry of Health is Hamas. And Hamas’ credentials should be poor, to say the least. The organization is recognized to be a terrorist organization by Australia, Canada, the European Union, Israel (of course), Japan, Paraguay, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Citibank has fired one of its personal bankers after she defended Hitler and the holocaust in a vile anti-Semitic post following the Hamas terror attacks.

CUNY Brooklyn College graduate Nozima Husainova, 25, sparked outrage with the remark which she posted on her now-deleted Instagram page and she's since lost her job, the bank confirmed Thursday.

Responding to a post about the Gaza hospital bombing that Israel has denied, she wrote: 'No wonder why Hitler wanted to get rid of them all,' complete with a smiley face emoji.

A spokesman for Citi branded Husainova's comments as 'revolting' and said hate speech would not be tolerated in their bank.

'We terminated the employment of the person who made the revolting antisemitic comment on social media. We condemn antisemitism and all hate speech and do not tolerate it in our bank

Customers were accusing the bank of tolerating 'unbridled anti-Semitism' among its staff and warning that it faces a boycott.

'Hey Citi, does your commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion include nazis?' wrote Daniel S Levy on X, formerly Twitter.

'What does it say about Citi,' asked Marian Kruss.

'This is NOT inclusiveness and your organization needs to fire her.'

'Where can I send a complaint about one of your employees, Nozima Husainova, praising Hitler's extermination of Jews?' asked Lenny Luchese.

'Or does Citi condone her words? Vile and despicable.'

'We are investigating this matter and taking appropriate disciplinary action, We strongly condemn antisemitism and other hate speech,' the bank said in a tweet.

Husainova majored in finance in June 2021 after five years at the college in New York's Bedford Avenue.

Her now-deleted LinkedIn profile suggests she is in her second year with the Wall Street bank whose parent company Citigroup employs 240,000 people across the world.
