We all get frustrated in areas of our lives - doesn't mean we murder our partners

Perhaps the question should why are some men ( because it is nearly always men) unable or unwilling to control their behaviour?

I've worked at some places where women were promoted simply because of their gender. Some of them were completely incompetent. They had poor technical skills and even worse managerial skills.

The one company I'm thinking of got huge (multi-billion dollar) contracts from the government, and part of their selling points was their diversity programs and how many women and minorities they had in leadership roles. I'd have no problem with that if competent people got promoted because of their gender or ethnicity, but everyone suffers when incompetent people are put in leadership roles... everyone except for shareholders, that is, since it increases profits.

It sure is nice to not have to deal with that kind of crap anymore.

I have never been described as a "wild child". I have however been described and placid and even tempered, just like my father.

Dad's mantra in life was "All I want out of life is some peace and quiet, and a fair go."

I have always wanted the same things, especially the "fair go" part.

The 'deadbeat dad' was the mother's choice. She wanted him and she got him. Now she must live with the happy result of her choice. The fault for our life troubles can often be traced back to ourselves, don't you think?

Different stories tell conflicting accounts. Assigning guilt, and the need for justice becomes a very complex scenario. When considering the defense are we sure we are not prejudice for the complainant?
