Many Women Will Never See Justice in This Lifetime

The 'deadbeat dad' was the mother's choice. She wanted him and she got him. Now she must live with the happy result of her choice. The fault for our life troubles can often be traced back to ourselves, don't you think?
Q: How can you always predict a deadbeat dad?
A: You can't

I've seen men "bloom" and change their devilish ways on becoming a father.

My faith based answer to this is...
I don't have to worry because I believe justice will be done by God, so I leave that to Him.
Our life on earth is but a speck compared to eternity in the afterlife.

However, that doesn't mean we shouldn't try to do what we can to protect our people and restore our planet in the meantime. And bathe the afflicted in prayer, kindness, love, and patience . God will reward those who do.

From the looks of the way things are going, the U.S. is going to see total bans on abortions in many states and possibly a federal ban. Fetal personhood laws are a real possibility right now — especially with the current makeup of the SCOTUS.
It's up to the young people today to do what we did: to organize, to protest, to affect elections. Yes, it truly bugs me to see so much I fought & worked hard for to go down the drain.........but it's not up to me any longer.

Different stories tell conflicting accounts. Assigning guilt, and the need for justice becomes a very complex scenario. When considering the defense are we sure we are not prejudice for the complainant?
Sometimes the 'need for justice' is nothing but an addiction to grievance aka chronic self-pity, excusing oneself endlessly from responsibility

Some are just not getting it. Most of America has chosen for individual states to decide on whether to allow abortions or not. So if your state doesn't allow it and an abortion is wanted, they can just go over their state's border to a state that allows it and get an abortion. It's a compromise that finally works!

If they are unable to drive they can take a bus, train, Uber, etc. I'm sure they will be helped to a clinic in a state that allows it. This argument has been going on for 50 years. Finally, this is a solution we can all agree on and most have. The ones who believe it's taking a life (with exceptions) won't be forced to support it. It's a win-win for all. No one will be turned away...we have a lot of states here to choose from.

Some are just not getting it. The majority voted for individual states to decide on whether to allow abortions or not. So if your state doesn't allow it and an abortion is wanted, they can just go over the border to a state that allows it and get an abortion. It's a compromise that works for both sides.

If they are unable to drive they can take a bus, train, Uber, etc. I'm sure many pro-abortion will be happy to help get them to a clinic in a state that allows it....if they are as committed to pro-abortions as they say. This argument has been going on for 50 years. Finally, this is a solution that is closest to being fair. The other side now won't have to support abortions with their taxes when they look at it as taking a life (with exceptions of rape etc). While the other side wins too.

It works for for all. No one is turned away...we have a lot of states here to choose from.

This thread has gotten too political for me. Can we not discuss ideas without politics thrown in?

I removed the word "voted" and such so it's not sounding like politics. But my message is important to keep so we all see clearly.
I did not create the title of this thread. It's not my thread so I can't change that.

I can see why you might feel that way, Dilettante. It seems to be a thing for quite a while now to talk about how much women have suffered from unequal opportunities and lack of political power. It is true and I'm glad it's changing, but no one ever mentions how inequality hurt the men.

We forget that while women were being asked to stay home and keep house, the men didn't all have glittering careers, for many men those careers were down coal mines or in steel mills and they probably would have loved to stay home with the babies.

When talking about unfairness to women, I remember that one million men died in WWI and WWII.
I am very aware of the Australian casualties of the two world wars. My dad said that he preferred to meet the enemy overseas rather than fight them in Australia. He and his brothers were all volunteers in WW II and two of them never returned. They are buried separately in Imperial War cemeteries in Singapore and Nigeria. Do you really think that they would have preferred their sisters to be fighting in their stead?

In WW I all Australians who served overseas were volunteers. Two attempts to make conscription legal were voted down.

Australian casualties during World War I
  • 60,000 killed
  • 156,000 wounded, gassed, or taken prisoner
  • 330,000 Australians served in the war
  • Australia had the highest casualty rate of any country in the British Empire
  • 4 million total population, with 416,809 enlisting (38.7% of eligible males aged 18-44)
There is no justice in any war. When bombs drop or missiles land, anyone beneath them suffers, regardless of age or gender.

The population of the continental United States on July 1, 1914, was estimated 98,781,324, according to estimates prepared by C.S. Sloane, geographer of the Census Office.

116,000 soldiers
During World War I, the United States suffered the loss of over 116,000 soldiers. The recorded deaths among U.S. service members during the war years of 1917-1918 totalled 116,516. The commonly cited casualty figures provided by the Department of Defence are 4,435 killed and 6,188 wounded. (Some discrepancy in these figures?)

The government has now exerted it's control and taken away the freedom women once had to be in control of their bodies. Nobody has ever been "forced" to support abortion. If you don't want to have an abortion...then don't.

1,000 service women died during WW2 Britain...
Women Pilots made the B29 a worthy aircraft when men pilots wouldn't.
Salute the bravery of the Ladies. Many fighters in WW2 were flown, delivered by the Ladies.
Sometimes the smallest person is the spunky-est. So many are quitting school at 16.
Most likely thas the worser problems out there. Ladies dropping out.
