Those are your best players and many play college ball in the US. I love soccer. The coaches were the cheaters. I doubt the players were involved. The penalty assured that Canada could not move on to win a medal.
 

Hey Man! Canada won a Bronze medal in fencing!! Maybe we'll even catch a medal in roofing later in the games!!!
 
I have never been a fan of the Olympic games but respect the devotion of athletes that train for years to compete. Without watching I understand that the opening of the games were purely embarrassing. It's very sad knowing that France and Paris in particular had spent a fortune in preparation. It's as embarrassing as the half time shows at the Super Bowl. Seems taste and decency have little place in these events today. So no I won't be watching.

Since I've been home processing images from my trip a few days ago, have left NBC on all day occasionally turning on the audio. Usually USA networks have no interest in table tennis. But as a past table tennis enthusiast, the world's fastest reactions sport, just searched what might be viewable and found NBC is offering a half hour free viewing. So here it is folks.

Team USA skateboarding roster

I know, they're just "a bunch of kids" right? Yea, a bunch of highly skilled kids, to be sure. I like to watch the snowboarders in the Winter Olympics, but skateboarding is right in there with the same/similar skill set.

The Preliminary Rounds for Men's & Women's have already been completed, didn't get to see on Dish TV. Here is Poe Pinson's performance qualifying her for a spot in the Finals:

Seems like the Paris Olympics stub one toe after another. The organizing committee should be very ashamed, but the French people in general are the ones that really suffer the embarrassment. When it's all over no one will even remember who the organizers were.
