How about also asking, "For those who ARE vaxxed, how do you feel about your decision?" Are you happy that you are very much more protected from a horrendous, often fatal illness, which killed millions of people? For those still unvaxxed how do you feel about your decision? What made you make it? What was your attitude like at the time and has it changed?
I feel I made the best decision for myself at the time and it has worn well. I was always uncomfortable with the no product liability clause pertaining to the covid 19 vaccines. This had me back off immediately and nothing changed my mind about it. I felt a "wait and see" approach would be best regarding this vaccine and I am still glad I waited because my feelings have not changed about the vax, that the risks outweigh the benefits. I am at ease with my decision. How about you?
Chic, most people will say they are convinced that they made the right decision, no matter what it was. That's because we don't like to admit that our decision was wrong, or possibly stupid. Many of the unvaxxed population is not able to answer this kind of question, because they did not survive the pandemic.
So, I'll answer, even though you didn't ask me: My attitude at the time was, "When are they going to come up with a vaccine for this awful disease, and how soon can I get it? I'm elderly, and probably right in the crosshairs of dying from this disease if I get it."
So I've had two vaccine shots, and several boosters, and will gladly get the next one as soon as it is available. I am grateful to medical science for possibly saving my life. (Side effects were minimal, no worse than a flu shot.)
