My children are on vacation with their three children. The youngest is one and he doesn't know or care that he's on vacation so I'm assuming nanny duties by choice so the others can get out and about freely. I'll comeback and do more things another time.
My grandson and I took a walk just a half mile down the mountain. I forgot I'd have to go back up the mountain pushing a stroller!
Haha I felt the bears would know I was weak prey but we're ok and baby is napping peacefully.

Got a lot of odds & ends done outside ,before it got hot.

Hubby & his cousin changed oil on couple of trucks.
Hooked one truck to our flat bed trailer,,loaded the no run ATV on & hauled it to get fixed.

Now hubby is delivering fire wood.
This customer orders his fire wood early & pays on delivery.

Our rhubarb is doing very well.
Going to make some rhubarb sauce ,, think I remember how & what ingredients I need.

I am a night owl and usually sleep during the day but am awake at the moment because a) I can't get the victims of the wildfires out of my mind, and b) I am reading a book to take my mind off this tragedy and it has gripped me unexpectedly so that I am wide awake at the moment! Well, five hours of sleep isn't too bad at our age, is it?
Well, I didn't manage my five hours because a scammer woke me up. The usual, Indian accent, telling me something was wrong with my credit card. I don't have one but I let her ramble on for a while because I was hoping the call would cost her a bit of money, then told her to get a decent, legal job rather than scaring people out of their money! The alarming thing is, she quoted my address, even my postal code! Too many of the wrong people know too much about me and I don't like it!

@hollydolly That's it: If I can!

Years ago Whatsisname, the Father of My Children, tried to get me to make commercials with him. I got mic fright and couldn't do it.

In this case, though, it'll just be the reporter and me on a phone call so as long as I don't get all tongue-tied, it'll be fine.

When DH and I were on Donahue, it wasn't like being on camera; it was more like sitting in somebody's living room and having a chat. But once when I was out sNOwblowing in September, a camera crew from a TV station 100 miles away (where they had no sNOw) saw me and tried to get me to talk, it was hopeless. All they wanted to know what how I felt about sNOwblowing in September. I said it's okay, but ask me again January.

BTW, I may or may not sell autographs. LOL
Well as you know Gigi, my career for the most part has been as a TV and film production researcher so I've seen every emotion and reaction from the interviewee's that are possible...I think you're going to be fine... it's on the phone and you're not in front of millions of viewers..

I run two air purifiers in my apartment and they help.
Which type do you have? I have 2 also (one in each of our 2 rooms) Mine are Aireoux brand. (Can't remember the spelling, at this moment)
Lots of stuff floats in, from the hallway. And window, too.
Having trouble ordering new filter sets for mine, now. They are having a supply problem, and i am not sure they are doing the best possible job, anyway.
Might need to purchase a new type, sometime this year.

One is Idylis, which I bought from a friend for $10. and I purchased the new filters for it on Amazon. The other one is a Germ Guard and I bought that for $103. on Amazon. Both work real good.

Made 30 bran muffins this morning. This was going to happen on the weekend, until I realized I didn’t have any wheat bran. People must not make bran muffins from scratch much now. Trips to two different stores and they didn’t have any either. Got some yesterday and baked them in spite of it heating up the house. I did turn the fan on. If a jet were taking off in the house, it wouldn’t sound as loud as this one. I should have had it replaced years ago.

Yesterday I took some new and almost new shoes to a consignment store. They likely won’t sell unless someone with tiny feet spots them. Did a bit of running around to pick up odds and ends. Donated to food bank and thrift store. Will walk tonight when it’s cooler. That is so strange to say in May.
It's very difficult to find bran, here now too.
You can make them with the cold cereal type, but it's way too salty.

I’ve used this recipe for decades and the same brand of wheat and oat bran and wheat germ. Looking at the bag, it seems that it’s half the size that it used to be. It’s no wonder it ran out so quickly. Most people that taste my muffins hate them. That’s ok, I don’t have to share. 😉 There’re called 5 Week Bran Muffins; it’s an old recipe from the days that people didn’t want much sugar.

Every once in a blue moon I try a different recipe. Too much sugar and salt.

I went down to the community laundry room at 2:00 a.m. When I came back up, I readied myself for prayer. After prayer, I cleaned Deja's litter box again (2nd time in 12 hours) and wet Swiffered the bathroom floor; just didn't feel like dealing with the pail and mop today. It came out better than expected. I rotated and rearranged some stock, also refilled dispensers and containers from bulk size packaging & bottles. I didn't start drying the clothes until after I had a brief nap. I like to take the clothes out and hang them up as soon as my dryer stops so I don't have to iron and I was afraid if I started the dryer while sleepy, I'd wind up not doing that.

This morning the food bank truck is coming here so it will be a crazy morning with a lot of activity. Normally there is nothing in the boxes I can use but I give my son whatever he wants. Then give Sonny what he wants. Everything else I will put on the free table in the Puzzle Room for anyone who wants it. There is a refrigerator in there for anything that needs to be kept cold or frozen. It has been working out nicely.

Looks like another sunny, but hot day for us here.

Okay...this is what I'm planning to do today:
~Clean up the kitchen, do some dusting and Swiffer-ing
~Finish putting away yesterday's laundry
~Repackage the cat carrier that I'm returning to Amazon. Hope I can get it back in the box properly.
~Clean my leather purses with leather balm before putting them away
~Go with my son this afternoon to see my youngest grandson off to his prom. I don't know if we'll be picking up his GF or if they'll meet there, but in either case, there will be photos, so I have to decide what to wear.
~Pack my emergency suitcase

Me and my Husband have been awake since 4 am. We both woke up screaming. It seems we both had the same dream about something that happened to my Dad many years ago. I don't understand why we both had the same dream about something that happened many years ago. The dream was about my Dad getting robbed after leaving the Bank and getting in his car. The date it happened was in September. My Dad passed away many years ago and we have never talked about that incident for years. It was really strange.

Yesterday I went an looked at a mobile in a park. So today, I'm thinking WTF and if I'll ever find anything. This place was a hot mess. A 1997 but even my agent said it presented as older. Areas of the floor seemed uneven. There had clearly been, or still is, a leak under one of the bathroom sinks, deck in poor shape siding missing, paint missing on the outside and spongy areas on outside trim. My agent said it's over priced. I don't know what idiot will buy that place. Also telltale air fresheners inside. Trying to mask something?

The pest and dry rot alone is going to cost $$$$ But everyone thinks they can put a place on the market and it will sell. My agent thinks the mobile prices are softening. I hope so. It's been on the market a month and they reduced by 10 grand. Now I know why. I don't expect it will sell soon.
