I feel for you and your well raised tomato crop…..very disheartening…..all the care that went into it.A sad day for me. We are expecting Hurricane Lee and I am being forced to chop my cherry tomato plant into pieces and then remove it from my balcony before a neighbour gets hit by a flying plant! I was expecting a bumper crop this year, now I have to bag the mutilated plant and put it in the garbage instead. It is way too big to shelter it in my front room! I removed some of the larger (relatively) tomatoes, hoping they might ripen off the vine but I am not really a gardener so nothing might happen there!

Working alone is hard, and even when there's someone else there, four hours just ain't enough to get the job done. Not gonna go back to working five hours, though. Old people get tired!
