What exercise have you done today?

I walk up and downstairs at least 30 times every day...

yesterday I also did a big Costco shop... so that's a workout on it's own... I'm exhausted by the time i've got that all in the car , and out again.. and put away..plus I had t spend 15 minutes scraping the ice off the car before I could go anywhere

..and then 10 minutes last night on the treadmill...4 mph...

Yesterday I did arm strength training with a variety of dumbbells and weight bench
Today I went back to Season one episode one. The season has 6 episodes. I’ll skip season two and go up season 3. Today yoga was super easy. Yayyyy.

Is this a rowing machine?
How long do you row for.?
Yes, I wanted to add something new to cardio. I am working up to 30 minutes but you only need 10-15. It works the arms, core and legs, so you get more bang for your buck with it. I like it but it can be quite boring.

If I was younger I would join a rowing club and do the real thing out on the water.

I thought it was. Rowing is a good workout for sure. 30 minutes is a good.

Oddly enough last night I saw a movie about how America won the Men’s Olympic Rowing back in 1936. It was a great movie.

My friend said she got 4000 steps in from dancing. I think that's pretty good.

Well at sunrise, I was all staged with a pile of gear at my front door to drive from San Jose, 185 miles to a ski resort but decided to wait till next Wednesday.

So instead, another 2+ mile afternoon walk in light rain down a busy nearby urban boulevard. Began raining this pm so for fun, put on my new ski pants plus a rain jacket with hood plus ski goggles. No one would be able to tell, "what's with that guy?"

I Was Born This Way, Bad Romance or Poker Face? :ROFLMAO:

Great to have you in the forum!

Yesterday - off, today regular strength training workout.
It appears that 1 day off and 1 day of training is my new schedule. Would rather be doing more skiing, but conditions are very poor.

Sawtooth Avalanche Center - "Yesterday brought continued humid, coastal weather to our region. The day dawned partly to mostly cloudy, with thick pockets of valley fog obscuring the sky. Temperatures started in the upper 20s to low 30s F and stayed parked there for most of the day. Winds slackened in the morning hours, blowing lightly from the S-SW-W through the day. Light precipitation started in the late afternoon, falling as a wintery mix in the valley bottoms and as snow in the mountains."

Had an urge to walk this morning, but not being dressed yet I only had my own long hallway, which I walked pretty fast, back & forth, for at least an hour. I couldn't stop walking, and the more I walked the faster I walked. Strange, but my legs say 'thank you.'

Wow I really piddled the day away, drove down the hill to the dentist, picked up Subway for lunch, took a nap. Fixed cocktails before dinner.

...but I'll do better tomorrow!

60 squats holding two 8lb weights, this morning. 20 lunges. One 15 minute brisk walk around and around inside my house.......outside it's snow covered and really cold. Two sessions of bicep curls with the 8lb weights.....I'm up to 50 reps now. This evening my usual half hour on the stationary bike....the speed that I pedal gets my pulse up to 105/minute. At 71 years old I figure this is the minimum I can do to keep aging healthily.
