What exercise have you done today?

45' on the Cybex Arc Trainer that I got a good deal on locally 7 days ago.
I've been doing the same plus 20' walking and running each morning since then.
Before getting the arc trainer I was using the elliptical along with walking and running.
So far I'm averaging 68' each morning this January, which only includes these types of exercises.
Here's where the arc trainer came from:

60 squats holding two 8lb weights, this morning. 20 lunges. One 15 minute brisk walk around and around inside my house.......outside it's snow covered and really cold. Two sessions of bicep curls with the 8lb weights.....I'm up to 50 reps now. This evening my usual half hour on the stationary bike....the speed that I pedal gets my pulse up to 105/minute. At 71 years old I figure this is the minimum I can do to keep aging healthily.
Combine the squats and weights w an overhead press. Build your bone density and activate the shoulders. Cut down the number of reps to start.

None yet today- I am a bit sore from snow removal and from doing many errands yesterday-but I must admit exercise can make you feel so good!
I was with Bone Builders for 2-3 years , but now do those exercises at home, in the winter.

Oh, I need Bone Builders! I've recently been diagnosed with osteoporosis. 🙄 Did you have bone density tests before and after (during)?

I've been pedaling an exercise bike for the past 5 days on a new regimen that my brother (he's a doctor) advised me. He says that if you constantly exercise on some exercise machine, without changing the exercise regimes and diet, the body will adapt to such a monotonous workout and the body weight will not decrease. And he's right, I've lost only one and a half pounds in almost a year. And that's just in the beginning.

Today I pedaled for 15 minutes with weights on my legs, and I can't lift my legs from fatigue. I didn't expect that.

I got out of bed. I sleep on the floor. I have for over 25 years. As I get older getting up off the floor is a real 'exercise'.
After major spine surgery some years ago, I slept on a thin pad on the floor. I parked my walker next to where I slept so I could just roll off the pad onto my stomach, and then use the walker's horizontal bars to pull myself up, kind of like climbing a ladder. Made it much easier.

I don't need the walker anymore, but I keep it handy.
