What exercise have you done today?

Morning workout and soon out to walk 3 miles. I have kept on walking even after retirement as a UPS package delivery driver of 20 years. Walking is a lot more fun when not under a strict time line and no packages to carry. It is certainly better on my back.

The walk. Carried? :D
I've been walking 3 miles every morning with my neighbor, and running when he takes a day off.
So far I've been running about 2 of the 3 miles but am aiming to run all the way again like two years ago.
My daily warmup is 12' of running in place along with 2 sets of 3' running back and forth in the 20 foot hallway.
The bike doesn't get much use anymore, as I have an arc trainer to use instead, and got rid of the rowing machine.

Running is great just as long as one does not overdo it.

Was your exercise post sent from a hospital rehab room?:D

Once again I have surrendered to old age. I've decided to give up doing Dead lifts. I have spinal stenosis and I've been taking two 650 mg exrended release Tylenols ever morning just so I don't have to walk bent over like Quasimodo.

So for weight training I am now down to bench press only and with mini weights because I am trying to come back from a rotator cuff injury.

At least you're still trying. (y)

I've quit doing deadlifts. Currently only doing one weight training exercise. Bench Presses 3 times a week with light weight. I' also averging about 2 miles a day of walking on the nature trail. Still strugling with my weight. During the month of June I only lost one pound from 203 to 202. I averaged 2,342 calories per day during June.

That's what happened to me a few months ago. I got a bit too enthusiastic with my 10 minute nitric oxide release work out and tore my rotator cuff. I decided I was too old and fragile to do much of anything.

However, I miss it and I'm ready to try again. I just made up a new list of 10 exercises, mostly acquired from YouTube videos with titles like "The Three Exercises Seniors Must Do Daily."

I will begin Monday, (Sundays are my day off, it's the one thing I didn't give up.)

Slowly and gently.

I did about 4 miles on the nature trail this morning. I start off before 6am and it is still about 85F and 50% humidity. Not pleasent. I saw a couple new homeless camps on the way. I don’t know how they survive it. It’s been 105F-113F for at least a couple weeks.
